Good Morning LL! Thank you Elsa! Here's the BDW finally showing up! Maybe yesterday's green was because the day before had been a d furshot and things just really got confused.

:YMSIGH: :YMSIGH: I don't know what to do about Izzy! Normally when I go to feed her she focuses on the food plate. Last night she Ignored it and did an end run around me. She was out the door before I could turn around and on Emma, who had he back turned eating her food. I pulled Izzy off and i don't think Emma was hurt, just scared to death and afraid to go back to her food. Izzy wants to sit in my lap and I'll spend half an hour or more w/ her. But I can't just sit there all day.

Izzy saw Tess through the catio netting yesterday and started to stalk. She got squirted for her efforts, but Tess surprisingly was just interested, not aggressive. Although w/ Emma she only gets aggressive when Ems gets too close. The neighbors cat was around too. maybe Izzy was just so wound up she needed to lash out. She is a nice cat alone, perhaps i just need to find he a home where she can be the only cat.

WCR All 5 Ps, not quite Clean Plate Club, Vines to all the kittehs in need of them and hugs to all their beans.

Awww, I'm sorry that poor Emma got pounced on and scared :sad: . I wish they would all get along for you!

It looks like Tess is doing a nice slide back down, hopefully to the blue floor later, at least ;-) . I hope the rest of your Monday is going well.

Ann,

You may need to reintroduce Izzy in with the family again, and in small stages. You can try Googling "cat behavior", and see what it comes up with. I watch Jackson Galaxy as much as possible on Animal Planet as he has some very good tips on such things. This may be something that may interest you, also. If that doesn't work, then perhaps rehoming may be the only other option.

Ann, I'm sorry Izzy is being so mean to Emma. I have the same problem with Harvey and Minka. It was so bad for a while that I took them to a kitty shrink! The advice was to do what we were already doing - to reintroduce slowly with lots of treats and praise when things went well. It worked, and things were okay for awhile. Then Harvey regressed. He's been wearing a calming collar for a couple of years now, and we haven't had any major attacks. Minka can handle the minor ones, and Harvey gets bored with it when she just walks away instead of panicking. Typical bully. I hope you find a solution for Izzy. It'd be a shame to have to find a new home, but sometimes that's all you can do.
