We have about a foot of new snow and I can't believe I'm going hiking with my women's group today, but I am! Stu, in the meantime, is cooking for the Full Moon party: a casserole: "Full Fish Moon shad roe casserole with hard-boiled eggs and Full moon sprouting green grass garnish". He hopes all the kitties will enjoy it. Ps are in order, breakfast has been eaten, and he and DH are set to have a nice day together. See you all this afternoon.

Have a great day hiking, Ella. Can't believe you got that much snow! I thought it was bad when we went down to the 30's last night, lol

Spot sez that Stu's cassarole sounds pretty good....but he may have to pick out those eggs...gives him (gas) and he doesn't want to be embarrassed, especially since Ms. Moonie will be there!

Snow! You have me feeling better about our freeze last night. (Although I'm not sure my vegetable garden would agree.)

Stu & Blackie both started the day in those stinkus pinks. I hope they get together at the party and make some blue-greens. Blackie will love the fish casserole and especially the sprouting green grass garnish! He is going to bring a little catnip to share with everyone.

Well I went hiking today but its spring in Ky not snow on the ground I cannot believe you have all that snow in april just crazy. Do Lou is looking forward to seeing Stu at the party tonight :mrgreen:

Hi again Everyone, I had a nice day hiking along the Racquette River near Potsdam, NY. There wasn't as much snow there as there was in the mountains and by noon most of it was gone. Lovely wildflowers. Stu and DH had a nice day. DH diligently fed all the little meals and when I got home at +11 Stu was at 219. So he may certainly have had some blues. I think the 302 at AMPS was a bounce from what may have been lower numbers last night.
Stu is at the big party with his casserole. He's looking forward to seeing all the kitties and to dancing with the lady kitties and who knows what time he will get home.

Stu...you make the best casseroles. It must be your kitty sense...you seem to know what all the kitties like. Man, I hope you get these numbers figured out soon and the snow clears before May.

Stu, Spot finally made it home from the party is now is your time to get that dance in with Ms. Moonie!! He also said that Stu's casserole was fantastic...even with the eggs (he had a tiny little piece of those). Thanks for sharing the recipe with him, he said something about trying it out tomorrow.

I am so sorry that I took some of your casserole but didn't eat it. I didn't know that it was fish casserole (I think I need to start reading condos like you guys all do; my bean doesn't tell me anything!), and I am (sadly) allergic to fish. It didn't go to waste, though. Blackie and Moonie ate it for me. It looked very scrumptious, though. Thanks for the dance; it was great!
