4/27 Condo

Good morning all! Well dinner was nice last night, we had a good time. Guess I'm glad that Scratchie didn't go as high at +3 as he did Friday night so that's some good news, but still hate the numbers. We'll see what plays out. His appetite is good, all Ps in place. Missed catching a test last night for ketones so should be able to catch him this morning. Heading down to iron now and he generally hangs out with me when I do this. He likes sitting on the ironing board. Silly boy! :lol: :lol:

Thanks for all the visits and advice again yesterday. I'm trying to get the ER report added to his stuff, but can't quite figure it out. I did put the bg numbers in for last Sunday at the ER hospital - the numbers there sure look better than what I'm seeing now! Of course they said they had him on a much larger dose than they normally do.

Hope everyone has a great day, great numbers and hugs and love to all! We have grocery shopping to do this morning, then a birthday get together for my son in law with the grand kids and their mom (my step daughter) - hopefully there won't be any drama as they are famous for that.

Busy day indeed.......I can understand you hating the numbers.....but it sounds like there's a lot of folks working together here to try to help you figure out what to try next.

Ironing Board, lol.....I was just thinking I might have one of them around here somewhere - but I try really hard to avoid anything that needs to be pressed. Glad dinner went well, hope there are lots more of those happy times to come.

ironing and family drama! hmmmmm....I'll take the ironing....there is a lot of drama in my family--believe me, I rally know what that's like!

I really hope Scratchie bears some blues (and even greens!!!) today

Jo, I’m sorry to hear Scratchie had the problems with ketones and had to be in the hospital. I’m glad he’s doing better now and things are better at your home. I hope both keep improving. Good luck if you decide to try the ‘R’. I hope you can find a good dose with the Lantus that helps bring Scratchie’s numbers down soon. I hope the birthday party is drama free.

Scratchie's only been on the new dose a couple days, maybe in a couple more, he'll have numbers that will help you breathe a little easier. Keeping paws crossed.

I can see Scratchie hanging out on the board.

Shadow always likes to sit up there too but usually the things I need to iron aren't things I want cat hair on. :roll:
So I rarely let her stay...
but sometimes they are just so darn cute....
