4/28 Oberon AMPS 358, +6.5 349, PMPS 326 (dose incr.), +4 342

I was hoping Lev would shake his fascination for pinks.

Increase and going out for dinner? Thank goodness for Lev's later onset. It opened up my ability to go out for dinner more often too.

The teen will be home to check on him, just in case. We're going to a local concert, so we'll be back by about +4. He's still not budging, so it looks like we're going to go for the increase. 5 U starting tonight.

@Wendy&Neko, is the timing for R any different with Levemir vs. Lantus? I'm wondering whether we might want to consider adding that in again when he's stuck in the pinks like this.

I still used R primarily at preshot. If R lasts 4 hours in your cat, then it's pretty much out of the system by Lev onset, but hopefully with a lower number to work with. Mid cycle R might change a bit, you still want to avoid nadirs of R and Lev at the same time. But with these flat pink cycles you probably could still do mid cycle. Start slow and experiment as you did before.

Sounds good. I'm going to wait to see what he does with this increase first, then think about it. I feel like it's the only other tool we have at this point, unless he eventually settles down with the Lev and stops bouncing.
