Well so much for the blue morning yesterday...she is back up into the pinks again today...Well I guess if she stays fairly high today I'm not going ot have to worry about her going too low while we are gone to go get Autumn.

Looking back over her spreadsheet, she did these high bounces last year during thunderstorms, and during the fireworks over the 4th of July. So I'm wondering if she is sensitive to loud noises or low pressure of the storms. She does have I think a touch of arthritis in her back hips, because I have noticed that both in her prior vet records it mentions stiffness in her hips and I've also seen her walking a little stiffly when its cold out or when storms are brewing.

Plus since I had just about finished her first pen, I switched pens this morning just in case the one I had been using was starting to lose a little of it's ummph.

Autumn is already in Iowa and on schedule so far so we should have her home and being cuddled by about 10:30 cst. Poor baby this one kind of scares me because of how bad off she is, but I'm going to do my level best to get her turned around, she is actually in pretty decent shape considering she hasn't been treated for a little under a year. (10+ months) so far it doesn't look like she has too much organ damage. Just got to get those ketones gone and get her BGs down. Lasting reading on her at the vet's was 537....ouch! At least she has youth on her side, if she wasn't as young as she is, I think she would be worse off.

I do think that it is sweet of Musette to up her numbers so you won't worry about her tonight! Or maybe she's doing it so Autumn won't feel so bad about her high numbers tonight when they meet.

Hope everything goes smoothly today and tonight, Mel! Pumbaa and I are praying for your Autumn.

psssssssst.........my sister said Lulu/Autumn is "the sweetest freaking cat i've ever seen" :-) she told her handoff that she wanted to keep her. but if they're telling me the truth, she did get handed off to the next leg :-D you better check the carrier as soon as you see it :-) btw, she said she wasn't scared of the car or them at all and was curious about what was going on outside. she had to take her out of the carrier to change her pee pad and she didn't freak out or anything, sat there like a sweet girl, looking around and watching Wendy do the deed.

Awwww I can't wait to get her home and start getting her well again. she is going to be just so pretty when she gets feeling better and gets a new healthy coat. I know Maxwell deepened in color about 4 shades once his new proper diet coat came in...When I first got him he was almost sand colored buff, now he is pumpkin orange. I can't wait to see what Autumn does.

Yeah I've been hearing that several of the transporters weren't real sure they wanted to hand her off for the next leg..lol

But then again I thought I was going to have to arm wrestle Marcy and Craig for Musette...heheh j/k
