Looking back over her spreadsheet, she did these high bounces last year during thunderstorms, and during the fireworks over the 4th of July. So I'm wondering if she is sensitive to loud noises or low pressure of the storms. She does have I think a touch of arthritis in her back hips, because I have noticed that both in her prior vet records it mentions stiffness in her hips and I've also seen her walking a little stiffly when its cold out or when storms are brewing.
Plus since I had just about finished her first pen, I switched pens this morning just in case the one I had been using was starting to lose a little of it's ummph.
Autumn is already in Iowa and on schedule so far so we should have her home and being cuddled by about 10:30 cst. Poor baby this one kind of scares me because of how bad off she is, but I'm going to do my level best to get her turned around, she is actually in pretty decent shape considering she hasn't been treated for a little under a year. (10+ months) so far it doesn't look like she has too much organ damage. Just got to get those ketones gone and get her BGs down. Lasting reading on her at the vet's was 537....ouch! At least she has youth on her side, if she wasn't as young as she is, I think she would be worse off.
