99 again. Kind of miss those 80s we got a few days ago, but we'll take 99.

He still seems a little "off" to me -- hard to put into words. Sits in his chair even after I come downstairs for the morning, when he usually got up to be let outside or get a second or third breffus. I played with him a couple of nights ago, and he bit his toy; I wonder if he hurt those tender teeth of his.

He also seemed not to pee as much for about a day, but LB seems back to normal today. It's lovely weather today -- maybe an afternoon in the sun on the porch will cheer him up!

Hey 99 is still green! Sorry Kitty seems off, we mamabeans know when our babies are not quite right. I hope all is ok, maybe Kitty is just adjusting to everything. Happy Day 12, boy we have a lot of parties to attend don't we??

Awww I hope Kitty is ok! You'll keep an eye on him and know if you need to take him in. 99 is a very good number! Happy Day 12!!

I can hardly believe it's Day 12.

Hoping things right themselves with Kitty and the sun/porch did the trick!

NOT happy about this 100. And here's what I think: I think it's Fancy Feast.

We had been feeding a combination of 9 Lives and FF. Then, because he seemed unenthusiastic, I increased the FF portion, until last night and today, when I fed 100% FF.

And what do I get? A 10 point rise.

I know, I know, these are still good, but I don't like the trend. So I'm adding back the 9 Lives. let's see what happens.
 
BUT..if you know it's the food, then it's the food and you test in 3-4 hours to see if his P is working to process it.
He will go up and down in the 'real' world due to food, stress, doesn't feel good, etc.. We all do. But if the P brings it down, then all is well.
I have never fed FF..so don't know about that one, but while we have tried staying below 10%, we have never attempted staying below 5% like some.
I do think Hank runs higher overall, just his normal set point than some of the other kitties. He's had mostly high 80's, 90's...and not the low lows. Then suddenly this last week...60's & 70's. Go figure.
You are still testing at same times each day, but when you get off trial...try different times of day and you'll see.

Betty -- Wow! An 80s/90s kitty, and he suddenly went to the 60s AFTER going OTJ? That's surprising.

Honestly, I think I'm going to have a hard time making myself test him *IF* something nice happens in two days. :mrgreen: I'm no testaholic.

It's crazy to have anxiety about 10 points. I know. I'm crazy! :dizcat
 
No, he was also 80's 90's OTJ...jsut the last few days I've gotten lower numbers FOR HIM. (look at our SS)

i also have been testing only once a day for a few days (unplanned)...so working out that way. My POINT is, when you aren't testing at controlled times, you will catch their numbers in different places on the way up/down.

I'd see like Scrabble, Baby, Tugger, with these crazy lows both on drop or none. We just ran OVERall higher.
Tonight I tested a little earlier than our old NORMAL time, and got a 65.

Mostly I've been testing later. But if you checked kitty at 3pm or something,without food for awhile...you'd get a different perspective. that's all.

He can have his FF, he just may have a teensie higher number after for a short time, if in fact that's what's causing it....then he comes back down.
