Pee, poop, purr, preen, play. :-D Is Cleo doing all of these? Let's see some blues, Cleo!

Oh, couldn't figure out the play! She is doing the other four, but not playing  But,then again, she never was much of a player. Maybe if I put a little "nip" out on their toys, she does some rubbing and biting. But, that is the extent of her playing. She used to be the fastest lizard catcher though - in her younger years.

She may still be reading high, but I can tell she is feeling better. I think she had been starting this disease for quite a while before she started with the excessive drinking and peeing. Her coat has been greasy/flaky for a long time. And it is so much better already!

It is great to see her feeling better and going back to her old pre-FD behaviors. :-D Have you tried any of the catnip filled toys, generally known as "nanners" around here? They are banana-shaped, but also rainbows, boomerangs, cigars, ... Zener is a bit unsteady so he can't chase things very well but he likes to rub on those.

Wow, Rhiannon, I recognize that toy from the show "My Cat form Hell" on Animal Planet. The toy with the green bug on the end. I am going to try and order one! Thanks! :-D

I am wearing a very pretty aqua blue pair of patience pants.

I am grateful that she is feeling better, we are getting the hang of testing with less stress, she has not "pee sprayed" in 3 days, and I was able to "catch" her a few times this weekend for just a cuddle/rub. No test at those times. She is becoming less suspicious of me.

One time, I caught her while she was half under the bed sleeping, just put her on bed with me, rubbed, petted, scritched her face (she loves that), and then after a few minutes, let her go, and walked out. I went into my bedroom, and when I came out into kitchen, there she was, sitting in our testing spot! I am thankful for the little blessings I receive. I am fortunate in many ways.

Thank you all for the advice, suggestions and knowledge you share~

And those patience pants are stunning! I have to remind myself to do that too, just pet the kitties to enjoy their company without testing or meds or foods. :-D

Hi Jane - it is so great to read that testing etc are becoming less stressful for you guys. I member my first days.... Eventually it all becomes second nature, for you,and for Cleo. Mannie actually grew to like the test time. I hope Cleo does too. It looks like a decent day for her: steady. and not too high. Well done Cleo! Good deal too on the pets and scritches etc that aren't associated with a test. No worries! The trust will return.

I hope your day has been a good one.
