Hello all-
With the craziness of getting ready to go, I didn't get a chance to post on the forum yesterday. My sisters is here (Vanessa) and may/may not post here. She will be keeping her chart updated, however. I've encouraged her to use this as a resource if I'm not reachable. She had a PM miss on 4/26 which lead to the higher numbers yesterday, but it looks like with Chloe's 84 at +10 from PMPS that she was successful with the AM shot yesterday. Hubby and I walked her through it again last night and this morning before we head to the airport, she will get to do it again. I was more concerned with the glucose testing, but actually she's had a harder time with the shots. Chloe doesn't quite sit still for her and is a bit more feisty.
But - Chloe has been doing SO much better with Vanessa overall than I expected, so I'm thankful for that!
Thank you all for your help - keep your paws crossed that everything goes smoothly for them both. Thankfully our vet is only 2 blocks away if it doesn't go well. They can help/show her how to administer the shots too if needed! I'll be checking in on here periodically and will try to update as I can.
