Don't even have phone service due to the lines ripped off the pole. That's never happened before!
Saving cell phone for emergencies.

Stay safe guys! At least we have power here (but may be evacuated because of flood damage to the bridge and dam). Full tale of woe is in Rusty's condo. Rusty has his evacuation kit ready to go. We may have to leave by canoe!!

Nice numbers for the big guy. Hope you weather the storms safely and get your 'lectricity back.

No complaints here today.....all the contractors are almost GONE. I still have a few more projects on my list but Mike has banned contractors from the property
for a sufficient rest time for us all :lol: :lol: :lol: I'm a "LET'S GET IT ALL DONE" and he's a turtle about it but that's ok.

Hi guys! Wow, this weather is just nutzo! We had a new driveway put in yesterday, and last night on my way to get an ortho bed for Tessie, it started pouring rain about 2 miles from our house. When I got home, my DH said it hadn't rained a drop. Halleluia! My sis in St. Louis said she has never in 25 years seen such hailstorms as they've had the past week. Hail while the sun was shining, she said! :shock:

no whines here - so happy about punkin's numbers and maybe (antijinx) the crisis being past. my quilting group is coming today in 1/2 hour and i'm sitting here in my jammies with the puter, blankies on the sofa, punkin paraphenalia everywhere, carpet not vacuumed and the cat box in the bathroom. thinking i should get off the computer and go get things picked up quick before anyone gets here.

the trouble with being friends for 25 years is that they know you, won't think badly of your mess, and the pressure to do all that just isn't there.

so i won't be stopping by condos til late today, but i will be keeping an eye on punkin and hoping he doesn't go too low. he's got such a nice 2 day surf going!

I feel for all of you on the east coast - what weather! Be safe everyone....

not much here, short of my DGS who passed his 4 month appt yesterday, but also received a battalion of immunizations, and sure is feeling them today. Poor little guy...
 
Good morning, guys! Big Mac is looking great!!

Kansas City has finally cleared off and we've got a sunny, beautiful day in store. Of course, I'm up to my elbows in work! :lol: :lol: :lol: My ex is a mortgage broker, so I'm having him run my financials and see if I can qualify to buy a house and whether what I want is what I can afford. If not, I'm going to provide notice to my landlord that I'm moving out and will find a new apartment.

Opening Willie's condo in a bit... busy day so far! Hope you all are having a great day!

Hi CD, great numbers for BigMac! Glad you are safe but what terrible storms for all of you. Hope you get your power back. No complaints here.

Here is henry is his new, very own cat post with hidey spot at the bottom.  I put it in the bathroom where he is hiding so he'd claim it as his and I can move it out when he's more comfortable.

He went to the vet today for his squishy tail - turns out its "stud tail".  They put a needle into the squishy bubble at the top of his tail and nothing came out.  Crazy.  It sure feels like there is fluid in his tail.  So his tail being always in the down position must just be that he's still not feeling settled.
 
henry has a squishy, bulbous tail, karrie? that is one wild image! :lol: i'm glad it's nothing serious, just his unique personal quirk.

no electricity still CD?
