All seems well here in TrixieLand. Her appy is pretty happy, demeanor is bright-eyed and spunky. She had a great appy day for most of yesterday, but once again it seemed to peter out a bit (but not completely) after evening fluids and meds. I don't know if this is my helicopter MamaBean imagination or not, so I'm going to attempt a bit of an experiment. We usually do meds and fluids within about half an hour of each other, after the first round of dinner. I can't really change the med schedule because it would throw of the mornings, too (she definitely has to get a couple of her meds every 12 hours). But, we're going to try moving the fluids till later in the evening, after she would have had a few rounds of dinner. In many ways, it doesn't make sense that the fluids would be bothering her, because this is the way we've been doing things for a year and until recently, it really hasn't seemed like it was an issue.
The other possibility is that she's not tolerating the Zeniqun as well as she has in the past. She has another week-ish to go with this round.
And the final possibility is that I'm just being too hypersensitive to every little nuance.
She has eaten pretty normally so far today, although she did fake me out right before I left for work...she kept walking away from me as I approached with her fuds. She finally hopped on the ottoman with civvie Petey and then ate quite well.
I wish could go home and give her a midday snack, but I'm running the store by myself today, so I'm stuck. She'll probably be happy having the entire day to herself anyway! As always, I did leave some fuds out, but I never know who actually eats it.
Since I have the place to myself, I'm doing some research for my Dad's visit to Penn this Friday, and then need to actually get working. Have a great day, L&LL!
