Good Morning LL! :shock: :shock: Surprise dip into the Lagoon for Tess last night. I'd gone to bed at +4 since she had been really flat all day. Poor John caught that 49 at +6! He gts to sleep in this morning and Tess seems to be bouncing a little or it could be from getting the 6% fuds. We've been using that a lot lately! :roll: She really likes the Drs Foster and Smith Trout and Brown Rice Dinner, but we are on the last can from the sample pack. I ordered more yesterday.

Emma is doing well, learned how to push the screen out at night and lost another collar. :roll: Tess still isn't having her in the house! cat(2)_steam

WCR Just 4 Ps but the last could come later, not quite Clean Plate Club, overcast morning so lots of cuddles for warmth!

Good catch by DH!

Tess sounds a lot like Shadow. She would not like having a youngster around threatening her dominance.
You may have a very long term project to get Tess to tolerate her.

I'm hoping this is just an end of the cycle rise and not whatever we normally think after a 49 ;-) :lol:

Nice catch John! Just when we think we know their cycle patterns.....boom! They decide to throw a little monkey wrench in the works.

So Tess still not liking the idea of a baby sister? cat(2)_steam that Emma is a Houdini for certain.

Wow with catching the 49! Tess sure has been having some nice numbers. I've never heard of the Drs Foster and Smith Trout and Brown Rice Dinner. I've heard you mention it before. I always go by your list of fuds, as you use the low phosphorus, too. Is this a hc to bring Tess up?
That Emma sure is a free spirit girl! :lol: Come on Tess and just 15 minutes of Emma time wouldn't hurt.

Ann, I just happened across the DRs F&S food when I was browsing their site. I see that Dr. Lisa has added the pate foods to her list, but not the "dinners". I calculated the carbs and Phos. for both and came up w/ the same as Dr Lisa has for carbs for the pates, but my Phos #s are a little different. I need to see how she calculates them. Or get her to do it! :lol: :lol: The Trout and Brown Rice is 6% and that is about all Tess usually needs to get her up. The Phos is a little higher than I like but still under 250, but i figured it is Ok fora bump up food. Trouble is she likes it so much she doesn't want to eat Wellness now! ohmygod_smile Sorry, I haven't updated my LC/low phos list yet. :oops: :oops:

Ann, thanks for the info on The Trout and Brown Rice fud Tess likes so much. That's great now you know it will bump her up. Oh too funny now on not liking the Wellness. :lol: The same happened with the Merrick Cowboy Cookout with Mags. She won't eat Wellness either! Hope you guys are having as nice weather as we are down here in SD.

Interesting about the Drs F&S foods. I never think of them....probably 'cause i don't want to pay for shipping. :lol:

When I brought little Clancy home, Checkers and Tux wailed and howled and growled for a whole week.

Checks numbers were sky high the whole time. He wouldn't come in the kitchen end of the house to eat even.
Then one day, he decided the kid was okay. Clancy followed the older boys everywhere and wore them down. :lol:

I hope Tess decides it might be nice to have a friend with fur. :-D

Last night's surf in the lagoon was worth the little bounce today. And already Tess is coming back down. I guess you don't worry about brown rice in a 6% food? Can you see the rice grains? I wish I had more foods to choose from for Rusty, but he is allergic to fish and beef, so that leaves mostly poultry. Once I fed Stu canned rabbit and he really liked it, but it was not nutritionally complete and he didn't like it when the nutritional powder was added to it. In any event, we are limited in what is available up here. I don't want to spring for a case of something and have it rejected. Next week in the city I plan to look around to see what I can find.

Have a good rest-of-the weekend. I hope that Emma settles down a bit and that Tess will come to accept her.

Hey Tess, Ollie maintains that he won the race!!! I think he might have had too many niptinis. Did you see his car?
Yeah, we've gotta visit all our fav. spots in the city and put Mannie placards up. Great idea!

What a nice even steady cycle for Tess - it is great to see this after hitting that 49 last night. less bouncing to the stratosphere - anti jinx!

Oh wow on Emma - through the screen and bye bye collar. She's quite the character isn't she. :-D
