Morning all! I am posting late this morning because I got up tested/fed and went right back to bed!!! It was so nice! I am so happy with Scrabble's number this morning. It is amazing to me that Scrabble's body is doing this all on his own now!! We are so blessed!!!!
Scrabble is running around right now like a crazy man with his mouse. He has so much energy lately it is funny!
Hoping all the kitties and beans have a wonderful day!!!!!

Gum Balls! I lost a filling on a gum ball! Great AMBG for Scrabble! Stu says: "chew, man, chew"!

HAPPY DAY 3!

Scrabble is doing so well on his GUM-GUM - yay!

Porky also had tons more energy when his BGs stabilized - he races around the house like a crazy cat sometimes, thundering from room to room. It's funny - I had gotten used to him being so, well, lazy and lethargic - he's like a whole new cat now!

Randi-It is funny was gonna post this morning but I said you know what? I am going back to bed, lol!!!! Back to tbp tonight so I will be posting at my regular time. Scrabble played for over an hour this morning. DH was laughing and saying he has never seen him with so much energy, it is so great!!!!

Hey just wondering if anyone else gets dry skin on their cats coats? I was brushing Scrabble and noticed his skin seems dryer than normal. His coat is so soft right now but a lot of dry skin. Wondering if there is anything I can put on it?

Hey, I was looking for you and Scrabble, too, earlier and almost posted a "Where is scrabble" :-D :-D
I am from PA and have been procrastinating the trip until I know for sure Maggie is stable enough for me to be gone a week. I will have a kitty sitter who can do shots.
Have you tried the feeder yet?

Hi Ann, no haven't tried the feeder yet, I am off on Thursday so I am going to figure it out then and try using it while I am home, I will let you know for sure how it goes!!! It was weird to not post this morning but I decided to take the luxury of going back to bed!!!

The petfeeder you bought is very user friendly, do a search on the board for it & there are several posts - very easy to figure out. I had mine going within minutes of purchasing, I had mine about a week & only used it 2 times, so I sold it to someone here on FDMB. Baby is a grazer, so I don't have to time her feedings - she times herself. But, I wanted to let you know it is a really good one & there should be no issues.

Max has had lots of energy again too. It's been nice to see him acting like the kitten I remember--and finally acting like the oldest child too! He's never asserted his place as the oldest before, but he's doing it now...he's swatting Truman off my lap twice in the last week! :lol: :lol:

I commented on your post in health--I think you can give some flax or fish oil to help with the coat. I don't know what kind of canned food you're giving, but maybe something with salmon in it, or something with a higher fat content? Max's dry skin and coat have disappeared since we switched to canned, but I know the flavors he's getting are a bit on the high side in terms of fat. We give flax oil to the drooler for his dry skin and it works great.

PMBG 67! WOO HOO! I had a really hard time getting blood for his test. Must be he is done with the poking! I am proud of myself that I have been only getting his am & pm tests, believe me I think about testing throughout the day but I restrain myself! Scrabble is doing so well I couldn't be happier (anti-jinx!!!!)
Off to tbp in a little while, wow this will be the first night back to work that I won't be worrying all night what the DH is going to report and nice for him that he won't have to test tonight!!!
Thanks Mindy for the info. Halo has a product out called dreamcoat, I am wondering if anyone has used it?
