Good Friday Morning, Everyone. TGIF!!
Is it snowing? Yep! Is the temperature 31? Yep! Is snow expected all day? Yep! (but not much accumulation). Is Rusty asleep in his basket by the radiator? (he sure is!). The latest weather report says that we will get sunshine tomorrow, but that highs will still be only in the 30s. Winter is hanging in there!
Rusty had a good night. All of his nighttime food was finished this morning, but I don't know when he ate it. He was in the hall when the "ducks" sounded their alarm, so I think he probably ate pretty close to when we got up. The important thing is that he ate, so I don't care too much that AMPS might be influenced by a food spike. We had a good test and shot. He's eaten about half of his breakfast so far (combination platter of Wellness Turkey and FF T&G).
Today looks like another mostly indoor day. Yesterday we had a good walk and I had a brief bike ride in the afternoon. Tonight we are going to a showing of paddling films. We are really looking forward to that. One of them is about the recently designated "Northern Forest Canoe Trail", which stretches from the Adirondacks (NY) to Maine, with sections in Vermont, Quebec, and New Hampshire. It is about 750 miles long and includes 55 miles of portages. Several of our friends have done some of the non-Adirondack sections of it (all of us here have done all of the Adirondack sections). Here's a link for those interested: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northern_Forest_Canoe_Trail
Wishing you all a good day and sending healing vines to Tena's Sid and to all kitties not feeling well,
