Yesterday, a very rare under 50 during the day. Hi back to Serryn, Marilyn, Rachel and Michelle for the later visits. Neko bounced as expected - I got sleep. :)

Kitties are exhausted today after their hard work trying to get us out of bed this morning. Lots of whining, civie jumping up on me to see if I'm alive, whacking, yelling - what a team effort! So tiring that they are now sound asleep recovering. Neko is curled up in solarium, in spite of the light rain.

I got my little kitty sigh again during Neko's acupressure. :) Tomorrow we are off to acupuncture vetty for her regular appointment. I'm debating getting her to do b/w and urine, Neko's water consumption is going up. :(

It's always the way, they get you up at some ungodly hour by devious tactics and then promptly go to sleep for the rest of the day. One of our civies just dive bombs the bed, no messing about.
Good luck for tomorrow's acupunture session, hope all is well with Neko.
 
With Sasha I suspect it isn't so much that she wants me to get up and feed her, but that she wants that nice, warm depression on my side of the bed!! She's tried pushing me over the edge during the night and so far has been unsuccessful (although I've awakened hanging on for dear life a few times).

Nice start Neko. Going searching for mermaids again? Cinco has been splashing around all day and he says he hasn't come across any yet. :D

Sorry to hear about the increased water consumption. I hope the blood work comes back okay.
 
That's not a bad start after her bounce last night. If Furball wants my attention, she starts chewing on my hair. Sending good vetty vines for tomorrow.
 
Darn cats. Up and at 'em (and at us) before the alarm and then wham....nap time through the rest of the morning. Sometimes, as I'm getting ready for work I'm tempted to just go around the house poking at them to make them rouse. Just tempted.

My civvie Pattie's favorite morning game is hooking a paw under the door if I've closed it and banging while singing at the top of her lungs. (she's named Patty after Patty Griffin the singer!). If the door is open, her favorite game is hopscotching across my body stopping on either side to head bump me while mrrping. Eventually, she'll settle into making biscuits b/n my knees and curl up, once she's sure I'm wide awake... :p
 
Here the whole family gets up when the ducks quack (on the iPhone alarm).

We have your weather today: cold drizzle all day. It's beginning to feel like my Seattle years to me!

It turned into a sunny day here, much to the joy of the black and whites. Neko also was sunny and earned a pokie break until PMPS.:rolleyes: Neko wanted out twice this afternoon, each time for about two minutes. Me in, me out, me in, me out.:cat:

I'm loving all the stories of the determined cats in the morning. Before Neko's arthritis, she used to hop on the bed and lick my right eyelid. No idea why, but always the right side. Now her only tool is yelling, or the civie.

Can you handle another determined kitty in the morning story? Tiger likes to wedge herself between DH and myself- kicking and pushing with all 4 paws until we are falling off the bed! If that doesn't work, she starts jumping first on me, then DH. Good thing she's so cute...:rolleyes::rolleyes:
