Morning LL! Moonie is a little up, but i'm sure she will come down today--
I'm off to get some kitten food as recommended by vet for Copper, who is resting comfortably today--He ate a little bit of this & a little bit of that -I even cooked a bit of salmon for him--Ate one or 2 bites--
So far, so good--
What would be the effect if Moonie ate the kitten food by accident? It is low carb but higher in fat--
Anyone know??

I'm glad things went so well with the oncologist yesterday and sorry i was so late getting back to condos.

What is the kitten food that is being recommended? As long as it is LC I would think it would be fine, except maybe for her svelte figure. :lol:

Yellow for you this morning Moonie?? I see blues coming up... You can do it!

I think too that as long as the carbs are in line that it would be OK for Moonie? if she ate the kitten food? I think the only issue is the fat content? It is nice to read that Copper is having a good morning.

Good to hear that Copper is doing well this morning, Roni. I'm sure the kitten food would be OK if Moonie ate some of it, as long as you get low-carb kitten food. Also, I believe that the original chicken & turkey EVO (not the 95%) is specified for kittens and cats.
Back later, have to deal with the cellar. I'm so glad that all is good in your house today.
Hope Moonie gives you good numbers and that Copper stays comfortable.

Hi guys ... moonie this yellow isn't such a bad place to start the day out at ... could definitely throw out some blues and maybe :mrgreen: even a bit later ?? I'm so glad that you guys had a positive vet visit yesterday .. Will keep you all in our prayers ...

' Morning Roni. Not only is yellow a pretty color to start the day, but it's a low yellow at that. :-D Bet Miss Moonie is blue by now. :-D

Nice to hear Copper is doing well. The kitten food shouldn't effect the BG levels but it is high in fat, so if Moonie is watching her figure, she should stay away from it.

Moonie is doing great again today. She just got green :mrgreen: She is very alert & personable today--wants some attention! If the kitten food has some fat Moonie gets some, well, she looks like a football right now :lol: --It's Ok..Still adore her!!


He ate 1/4 can of FF kitten food :mrgreen: --Guess this will work somewhat better than yesterday..
He eats in bits, so I will have to figure out something to feed later-So far-7 temptations,2 bites salmon I cooked, 3 bites ff turkey gib. Plus kitten food--All this is good! :mrgreen:

What a great day to stop in and see how things are going with Moonie and Copper! Gooo Moonie, great +4! I'm glad sweet Copper is eating a little better for you today.

Glad Moonie is doing ok through all this.

Hugs to you all. I hope Copper tolerates his treatment with spectacular results. Sounds like he has a great specialist working with him.
 
Moonie stays in blues, and actually isnt going near Copper at all!
She is hold up in our bedroom, and not coming out to be with us all in the family room at nite--or day much
Vetty smell? Chemo smell? She senses something though..Hope that passes.

All in all Copper ate much today, in little amounts many times during the day-
I'd say he ate between 1/2-3/4 of a can of kitten food, 2 bites of salmon, temptations, 2 greenies with pred in them, pieces of chicken & pieces of turkey--All in all Pretty good :razz:
Hope he improves a little every day for as long as it lasts--He is a good, brave strong Boy!!
Love him so much!
Time for much needed sleepus--I cooked so much all day, I'm exhausted!
Happy dreams, calm sleepus, & above all good health for all LL kitties & Beans--
