I would have suggested what you did. A couple tsps of LC and test again in half hour (or 20 minutes), however long it takes her to process the food. Hopefully the LC will get her surfing the safe greens.

She did a good sized drop from AMPS to +2, which can be a sign of a more active cycle.

Thanks. 1/2 hour is now, so i will do another test.
 
Ok, just like I thought. At 5.5 we had a food spike. its back to 68 at +6. Good to know how much it goes up with the LC food tho. She eats primal freeze-dried raw. And he ate a whole nugget at +5 after the 50 reading.
 
Some cats are more carb sensitive than others, looks like Karamelle is one of those. You might want to add a note on the Remarks that she ate an entire nugget (and which protein) and the +time. That info could be handy later.

I'm surprised she dropped that fast to +6. I'd test again in 1/2-1 hour to make sure she stays up there/

Whew! I didn't want you to have to worry about her being low at PMPS. Hopefully she's hangs out in those nice safer greens now.
