He saw another vet as he threw up 6 times in one night so I rushed him in. They did BW and x-rays of his lungs he has a lung infection and us on Orbax AN she said get him off the thyroid med he doesn't need them. I'm thankful you sent me to the other group for now I'll stay connected them. I'm considering taking him to the encrodologist I 've I'm in Wash. and get this infection cleared up. I am also buying a pet tread mill. Once the infection is gone I'll walk him on it daily. He'll start out at 1 minute a day and work up from there.
You will have to take pictures of Fritz on the treadmill. Hopefully he will take to it like fish to water!
Well holistic vet put him on them. I was nervous and reluctant because she didn't run the complete thyroid panel and the ones she did showed normal . When I took him to his vet in Safford Az she said take him off the meds. I'll for sure post the treadmill photos. Waiting for the lung infection to clear.
When I saw Deb's condo about the thyroid meds, I looked at the labs and told Deb I didn't think Fritz should be on it. Tanner was hyperthyroid for about 2-3 years before I did the i131 and he became hypo 3 years ago. Rex became the second special cat in the household.
