Considering yesterday was so of track for us, his AMPS was a nice surprise. Hubby gave him a reduced dose last night because he wasn't eating well all day. Or so he says. I usually mix 2 foods together for Smokey I'm sure hubby did not.
Yesterday was a long day working theme polls. 6:30AM to 10:00pm. I ache all over. Being short reaching across table turning the sign in pages and sitting a lot took a toll on the back and neck. People get mad at us because they can't vote the way they want other vote at all. It a primary you have to vote what your registered as. Independent can't vote at all. Then they get mad because they can't change their affiliation on election day. Then there are the people who don't know they are in the wrong district and get mad. So many who don't update their address and names if they moved or married. So they don't know how their listed. Then you get people who look to see if friends or family came in yet while there is a mile long line behind them.
We had close to 1300 voters yesterday. Then the count after closing. If the ballot paper can't read what is on it because of mistake, smudge spots from food or kids, or you picked 2 people instead of one, it's kicked out and has to be done by hand. People if you don't want to vote for who is on than don't put anything. We have to count them by hand. Godzilla, Frankenstein, Yosemite Sam, Prince, Elvis, no name aren't going to cut it. It just keeps us there longer filling out papers for your "cuteness" (I'm being nice here). It was an eye opener to say the least.
