Good morning LL! It's my Friday, so woohoo!!! DH and I are having a "date" weekend this weekend so we are starting it early. Of course it will be a stay-cation with the fur babies, but it has been so crazy lately with visitors and traveling to see Mason that we have deemed it the "weekend of us."

Sunny yellow again today. We went with a dosecrease this morning so hopefully this will get Miss P to start working again. This is the highest dose Tarragon has been on. I suspect that it is the Charlie factor, the prednisone and the fact that he has gained weight. He now weighs 12.6 pounds. That is super exciting since he has been hanging out at 10 - 11 pounds for the last year and was 7 pounds at diagnosis 14 months ago. As always, he was a happy furry purry boy all night and again this morning. 4 p's present so I will get #5 when I get home for some nice aromatherapy.

Charlie is hanging in there. Still limping when he gets tired, but I do notice that he is putting more weight on that foot. He swam yesterday when we were at work since it was 90 outside. You can always tell by his fur. Poo inspection shows that it is back to it's normal color.

Morning Melissa, how exciting and romantic that you and DH are having a "date" weekend! Lots of love with your family! Good luck with the increase, and Tarragon, let's see you work that juice. That's great he's getting back to a good weight. Maggie has some extra fluff in case he needs more! :lol: So good to hear Charlie is doing better, and wow with the 90 degrees. So cute with the swimming. Would love to see a video of it! Have a nice Friday!

Good plan re. the dosecrease. I wouldn't worry about increasing given the pred. It's more important to adjust the insulin around other medications since the pred is needed.

Have a great weekend all to yourselves (and the furries)! Good luck with T's dosecrease. And we're very glad to see that Charlie is recovering nicely. I'm not so sure about the 90 degrees! :smile: We are now at 46 and climbing.

Hi guys .. how nice is it to see that tarragon is putting his weight back on! I bet he looks amazing .. glad to hear that charlie is feeling well enough to swim .. I hope you guys have a great weekend to yourselves .. we'll be doing the same next weekend, at Niagara Falls for our nine year anniversary! :o have a great day!

Good luck with the dosecrease! I'm so glad to hear that Charlie is starting to feel better, too. Enjoy your weekend - it sounds wonderful!!

T, you are doing great. How about working that juice and finding the blues and greens? Happy Furiday! :lol: :lol: It's great to have a 3 day weekend without a schedule. Enjoy yourselves!

Have a great weekend! You deserve it! OK T, use that juice but don't go overboard and interrup your beans date too much.

90º? Already? Lucky Charlie, he has a place to cool off!

Glad Tarragon is doing better, and that he put weight on..They were all so pathetic at time of DX! Moonie had so much dandruff, couldnt walk, & ate & drank so much! Now I have to entice her to eat when she is in normal numbers! Like tonite!
Happy Charlie is enjoying himself & swimming!! Sounds good to me!!
