I'm a bit new here, my other thread is http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=90123.

The numbers I'm seeing so far are confusing me. I guess maybe it could be that I have not been able to give his shots at the same time the past few days. Socks is on ProZinc, but I was advised to post here since it is more populated here.

I work 10 hours tomorrow so I won't be able to test, but I am off Sunday, so I figure I will do another curve then and possibly Monday.

I guess I'm just wondering if anyone wants to look at his SS and see if they can kind of figure out what is up with his numbers.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I understand why Deb might have sent you here ....we a a busy forum. However, dosing Prozinc is a very different animal than dosing lantus.

PZ is dosed on preshots; lantus is dosed primarily on the nadir. I would prefer that you do either post in the PZI forum or stay on Health because there are very knowledgable people there with how this insulin is used.

I only know it is a medium duration insulin dosed on PS but I would have no idea what kind of dosing scale you would use and I'd say the majority of our members would say the same.

I might suggest that you send a private message to Carl & Bob ...he knows alot about PZI and PZ dosing. He could have you post in the PZI forum and could help you there.

I'm sorry...I don't mean to put you off but you would be better with members who understand the insulin.
