Can't really explain yesterday. Wasn't horrible but definitely not one of his better days recently, and now an AMPS of 438? worst since I left for vacation last week.
His eyes are clear, any minor irritation i noticed a few days ago seems to be gone. Is it possible i did a partial fur shot last night? Guess we'll see what today brings.

It was a lovely day though, not weatherwise, but cold and rainy and perfect to stay in all day and read a magnificent book, (All the Light we Cannot See) w/ Oren cuddled on my lap the entire time. Just wish the numbers had been better.
 
I think Zoey and Mr. Oren are kindred spirits .. she's now in the 400s, too. (smh) Sounds like you had a lovely day yesterday. Some times we all need a rainy and cold day to make us slow down and appreciate the simple things (she chides herself since it was a hot, humid, miserable and hectic day in our world... LOL)

Hope our furbabies get back on track today. Paws crossed. :)

@Rose , thanks and no thanks! I don't know what these little babies have in mind, but I wish they'd knock it off! He is going down, but ever so slowly, and only he knows why he suddenly doesn't like the green/blue even yellow numbers! I might have to tell Zoey to stop calling him and they're gonna keep this up!;) Still crossing paws indeed :blackeye:
 
Last night does look like it could be a partial fur shot. Any insulin smell at the injection site? I find it lingers for a while after.

Come on down Oren - nothing interesting up on the red floor!
 
I did smell a bit on his fur, but thought it might just be the final drop as I pulled out the syringe, as it didn't linger beyond the first minute or so... but how to explain flat red all day, if this a.m was good? Has my Lantus bitten the dust? it's 2/3 finished, vial started end f January. Was left out one time on counter for 6 hrs, about 1 mo. ago, and was recently in a power outage refrig for about 5-6 hrs also. No threads/floaties etc. visible, but maybe the potency is waning?
 
Impacts of a fur shot can last for a few cycles. Time to take a pokie break today. Most people here get 5-6 months out of a vial.
 
No answers. Do know that fur shots, complete or partial, have impact beyond the following cycle. Yup, lots of experience with those!
