I have a question please. We leave Eastern Time sometime on Monday or Tuesday and will be in Central time. Ollie's tummy and our sleep clocks will still be on Eastern Time. What i'd like to do is leave his shot at his regular time according to his tummy . His amps is at 6am eastern...it'll be 5am central...i don't want to make him travel across the country and then have to wait an extra hour for breffis!! kind of like adding insult to injury??!! I want to make it clear on his ss that we've changed time zones.... can i just add a line and say... change from eastern to central time?.. what's the best way to note it on his ss? ..

thanks very much!

It's starting to rain here. "They" say we may get 3/4 inches.. There's not going to be much racing if that happens. Got my fingers crossed this passes through and we seem some Manniebeams today.
xoxo be well, be happy and blue skies.. the prayers are constant for us all. mary and oliver

That's very kind of you to think of Ollie's tummy clock. I think you can just do as you are doing now and just change the column that says time to the new time and maybe add an asterisk on the first one (that looks an hour early, but is really not, according to Ollie's tummy) and add a note in Remarks that you are now in Central Time Zone.

Very nice numbers, Ollie!

Morning Mary,

Look at those pretty numbers for Oliver... Great job buddy, keep it going. Safe travels. Have a great day,

I think for me, the overriding issue would be your schedule. Will shifting Ollie's shot time an hour earlier (on the clock) work for your lifestyle? You could begin to transition the times now by 15 min. and by the time you're back in Milwaukee, you'd be on schedule. This is pretty much what we do for daylight savings time changes.

I hope whatever you decide works for all of you! Happy travels!

Nice numbers for Oliver. I hope he keeps surfing for you. Good luck with whatever you do to handle the time change.

Hi Mary. Great to see Oliver surfing the Lagoon.

Reference your time change vs SS question. Do you need the local time column on the SS? We use the "+" times to compensate for the various time zones worldwide. The time you give Oliver his shots wouldn't make a difference on his SS. You could add something like OLIVER IS ON EST. Just a thought.

Hope the bad weather passes you by and it only rains money at the track for you.

Have a great weekend Mary.

Hi guys,

I like Sienne's idea of treating it like we do the switch from daylight savings time to standard time. That way you will avoid all confusion and keep your own schedules on time (as it were!). 15 minutes per cycle (1/2 hour per 24-hour day).
Saturday (today): AMPS at 6 A.M. ; PMPS at 6:15 P.M.
Sunday: AMPS at 6:30 A.M.; PMPS at 6:45 P.M. (Sunday night set your own clocks back 1 hour)
Monday in Central Time Zone: AMPS at what would be 7 A.M. Eastern time = 6 A.M. Central time.

Good luck and good surfing, Ollie. Beautiful greens today!

Have a good trip!

Yo Ollie, I don't think that Tess and Maui will go along with you saying that you won the race. They'll both gang up on you!

Hi Mary, thanks for visiting last night while Ollie and Neko were splashing around in the lagoon together. Oliver is looking very good - looks like travel doesn't phase him at all. :-D

When we took Neko to Colorado for her SRT, we had to change time zones plus set her PS times earlier because drop off at vetty hospital was earlier than our normal PS. I just made a 15 minutes change every shot, both going and returning back home. Her tummy adjusted fine to the 15 minutes difference.

We've got rain in sympathy to you, hope yours clears up.

Morning Mary!

Oliver is looking great. Looks like you've got lots of good answers and I will leave it a,l to them since we don't change time zones and it always confuses me

I hope you all have a very safe trip back north. Your boy is just doing so well....makes me happy!

Have a great day and hope you see some sunshine.
