Well the animals are all finally healthy at our house...but the humans are not. The baby and I both have the awful cold/cough that DD had last week. DH hasn't gotten it yet, but I'm sure he will since he was up with the baby all night. Max is still cruising along with his numbers, seemingly unfazed by everyone else feeling like crud, but he was in bed with me trying to keep me warm last night since DH wasn't there to do it. :mrgreen: Gotta love having your own personal nurse-maid! :-D
 
Morning Mindy and Max! Was wondering about you guys!!??? So glad to hear Max is doing well so sorry about you being sick! My DH was sick too but thank God I didn't really get much of it! Hope you and baby are feeling better quick! Day 8 huh? you guys are getting close! are you gathering Max's pics? Did you hear the good news about Scrabble???
 
Happy Day 8, Max!! I wondered where you were yesterday & looked at your SS, I got even more nervous when I did not see any updates past Friday morning!! I hope the household is feeling better soon & wishing you a wonderful Monday!! :mrgreen:
 
I hope you and the baby feel better really soon. That was so sweet how Max crawled into bed to keep you warm, these kitties know when to help out don't they?

Or if Max is like my kitties.... they know when my DH gets up there will be a nice warm area on the bed and they make a dash for it. Not sure if my kitties care that I'm still there or not. Hahaha!

Max is looking great on his trial!
 
Day 8? Wow. When I saw the subject line I was confused. I'm glad Max is doing well while everyone else is miserable; I'm sure it adds a huge bright spot to your day!!!

And yes, I don't have internet at home, so I can't update the ss or post condos. We'll have to have his party on what is technically day 15 because day 14 is Sunday. :lol: We've waited this long, I think one more day won't hurt us, right? :mrgreen:

I have sent D a bunch of pics...still have to figure out where the kitten pics went. I think I actually have to reconnect the old, old, old computer in the basement to get them. It's old enough it doesn't have a CD drive, so I never burned them to disc after downloading from the camera. Now I'm starting to wonder what else I've left on there... :lol:
 
Oh, and CD, both cats race to get into the warm spot when one of us gets off the couch. As for the bed, tho, he was between me and my edge, so he wasn't in DH's spot. I'm sure he's been curled up in bed with DH today tho (since he was up all night with the baby he stayed home from work today to sleep). He's just a cuddle bug, and likes the extra heat. :-D

And I had to laugh over the weekend--Max is reasserting his claim on me. He's twice now swatted Truman off my lap or away from me in general so that he can cuddle up with me. Cracks me up--he's NEVER been this feisty! :lol:
 
OK Max!! You're doing great! And so considerate to help out your family when they're not feeling well. Tell them to get better this week. Soon there's going to be your party and they'll want to enjoy it as much as you will. Chew, Max, chew!
