Yesterday was yellow day.... a nice flat yellow day. and with all nice flat yellow days I always sit there and think: when will this break.... please don't let it be when I am out with Nicholas, or in the middle of the night when I am zoned and sound asleep, or when I have so many things on my plate that I really need him to be cool, so to speak.... :lol: :lol: well - it is what it is, and no doubt no one knows the master plan but Mannie. So Mannie how about a heads up? I never get a head up... :roll: :lol: Hmmmmmmm.... We went pleasantly surprised when he decided that the break would be last night, early on in the cycle. YAY! LUBS ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D Mannie is happy: he buried the lavender soap, and then DGS showed up, first thing in the morning. HAPPY DANCE dancing_cat dancing_cat dancing_cat for the Manster!! Nicholas was glad to see him too. He was my testing helper yesterday. He's in charge of the test strips, and kept placing the container on Mannie's back. He'd then scoot around to be at eye level with Mannie (I test on the floor), and lay there nose to nose, just checking things out, making sure Mannie was OK with it all. :cool: Such a serious look on DGS's face. The funniest thing was when I went to place the small towel I use to put pressure on the poke spot, Nicholas scolded me. :shock: :lol: :lol: It seems he didn't think Mannie need any more ear messing, and proceeded to pet him instead, ever so gentle. while the other hand grabbed this very small towel and threw it across the floor. It was such a Kodak moment. PRICELESS! :razz: :razz: This morning we had a great test, shoot and clean plate club - AND the auto feeder still continues to be used by Mannie (though he did miss one yesterday - oh oh!), though Elsa still thinks it has her name on it. Some things just never change. Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone! I am back on DGS duty through Friday. YAY! More Nicholas!! :-D :-D :-D I hope we can take road trip today - weather permitting! Paws crossed on that. I know I will not be able to visit condos while he is in my care. I hope to do so later in the evening. I will miss you guys - hope all is well with your fur kids. Think blue, think green kitties!

I am so impressed by how Manny and Nicholas have become best buddies. My guys head for hiding places when kids are around.

Hi Michelle and thanks for sharing the link to the FB pics, as I haven't quite gotten into FB yet, soon though! What beautiful pics and really captures DGS and his wide eyed fascination. They are are best buds and so cute with the towel throwaway! :lol: I hope the Manster gives permission for a road trip today. We have your Seattle rain today! Have a great day Michelle and DGS.

Mannie, a trip to the Danish shop sounds great; I think my Bean was visiting there in the 80's! Disneyland is not too far away, and Leo is teaching me how to catch mice and let them go, too! See ya at the curb, Mags

Hi Guys,

Looks like a good day for a road trip is shaping up. Mannie is issuing a permission slip and Nicholas is always up for whatever the day holds in store. Great pics: he is really a water-baby. When I was a little girl I was fascinated by Kingsley's "The Water-Babies"--it was written in the 19th century as a children's book and is really strange. Do you know it? 231 @ PMPS. Interesting afternoon cycle, what I saw of it. Mannie was at 146 @ +10, by +11 he was 220. :shock: :shock: Where did that come from? Could he have been starting a bounce at +10m frim having own low during the day? Well... we will never know. It just seems like huge spike for him at +11. I can't wait to see what the evening cycle brings.

DGS and I had a great day today. We went to Deception Pass, looking for a sunny place. it was supposed to be.... but we did some come sprinkles at first, which were shortlived. DGS had such a good time there - walking the trails, exploring the north beach area. What a great day for him. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Melissa - It seems that is what he did, and saved the yellow for my return trip. :? :lol: It was nice to think he surfed the blues today. SWEET! hey - wouldn't that be someting: DGS an AC. hmmmm.... and thanks on the pics!

Hi Ella - Yes, that it was, and off we went! And so true on Nicholas - he is up for anything. and yes - so agreed on the water baby. He just loves it! I had not heard of that book, but will look into the link. It sound very unusual, but I like unusual.

Hi Devon - He seems to have liked the blue floor for a while today. Now we are yellow again. That's ok - at least it isn't that "other color".

Hi Liz - This is true.... he gave me mid-blue so off we went. No I'm wondering how low did he go.... hmmmmmm..... only Mannie knows and he isn't talking., So of course he decides to go yellow for the evening. I may have missed all the good stuff. :lol: :lol:

Hi Ann - me to on the short bounce. Sure are getting alot of this flat yellow stuff. ugh! I have told him the same thing... he just bolted out of here, apron flying, hat under his chin, and ladle and spatulas clanging...
