They are running a Caturday Catnip special today, in honor of Catmint Caturday - lots of nip in those pies! They have even used their signature nip cheese. Best order early! so. well. anyways. ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a venti quad peppermint white chocolate mocha, with peppermint infused whip, garnished with peppermint candy chips and white chocolate shavings... It is my bean's fav! SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of peppermint and vanilla and chocolate and caramel swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, sprinkled with peppermint chips and a chocolate caramel drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good!

I hope everyone had a great day yesterday. It was a good one here. It was very much a water day, what with swimming in the morning, and swimming again in the evening. BUSY!!!!  Swimming was as good as it always is. The energizer fishie was in his element, and a great time in the pool. Nicholas had fun, alot of underwater swimming today from the energizer fishie! He swam two widths of the pool on his own again today. Not too bad! AND we got part of his swim test done! YAY!!!! The day was along one for me, home at 9 once again, but even so day was great - swim in the morning, usually cool stuff, spent some time at my MIL with the boys. The boys love the time with Grammie Connie too. I am so grateful to her for watching William so Nicholas and I can go swim on Fridays. We went to the park near Meadowdale after that, so boys could play some. Nicholas has become a fan of their zip line. William loves the swings! We got lukcy with the weather - had a break about that time, so it worked out well. Home for naps after that. Nicholas did swim last night too for about an hour, had fun. He told me when it was time to go, so nice to see he knows his limits. He still looks forward to our after swim Friday Night Burger Feast too. That is just so fun: burgers and fries, in the car, just him and me, with lots of fun stories. I still love that drive from the pool to his house: 30 minutes of little guy stories, my little back seat driver! Quite the imagination he has. He tells stories, we look for rainbows and sunsets and views of Seattle. Great drive home! The sunset was gorgeous last night.

ETA: Opps! Almost forgot - just some shots from the boys morning here yesterday: A Morning with Big Bro, Little Bro

Normalcy in MusketeerVille!   What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. Crazy fun Lola. When I got home last night I watched the usual Friday night run and romp. That is so fun to watch, and so what goes down here on FR nights. Elsa just watches, trying to decide if she wants to run too. I did, once again, get her to join in on one of the romps though. She ran once, chasing Bug down the hall. Not too bad for my senior gal.  This is about the only time I can ever get her to run like that. It is nice to see once in a while. There was nothing amiss when I got home, just kitties waiting at the top of the stairs. Just as it always is. LOVE THAT! Lola was rolling on the stairs, Bug was pacing, and Elsa was just sitting with that stare: where have you been? Definitely a normal Friday night for the kitties. I get a few meows, some leg rubs, they get scritches in return, and then off they go. DH fed them so there was no worry over them producing that "blood oath", they had full bellies and were content... Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! It will be a normal Caturday here: shopping, laundry errands, all those things I never get done when I have the boys. Catch up day! and recovery day from three very busy days with the boys. :-D Time permitting, and weather, I may go for a short hike though the woods to the shore later today. I will be joining my DD, DSIL and the boys are heading over to a local farm for family event later in the day: Sheep shearing and a small animal farm type thing. Should be fun for the boys.

KITTIES! Remember: think BLUE, think GREEN cat_pet_icon

That's nice you got a break in the weather to be able to take the boys to the park yesterday. I hope you get that walk in before you go to the farm for the family event. That sounds the boys will enjoy it.

Hi everyone! I hoe your day has been a good one. We did fairly well. YAY! The weather behaved, with sun, a few clouds, and a little wind. Not too bad. The rains have stayed away for now, and we were so grateful that our excursion today was rain free. Kelsey Creek was a decent time. We stayed maybe a couple of hours. The whole thing was rather low key, but it did draw the crowds. Just a tad it busy. Nicholas really enjoyed the sheep shearing, and the sheep dogs. They had an area set up where they could show how those dogs do their thing. That was fun to watch, and Nicholas really liked it. One sees it on TV all the time, but it was kinda cool to watch for real. We toured the rest of the place, then headed home. They had the bouncy house stuff set up too for the kids, - the really big inflatable ones, and a rather huge slide. Sheshh - they wanted one dollar per slide. Highway robbery. But we did buy him two slides, and he was content with that, All in all a nice time out with the gang. i will post the Picassa photos in tomorrows condo.

Hi Carla - Me too on yesterday. I was so grateful to see that weather break. The boys were happy too. YAY! I didn't get to walk today, just not enough time before I needed to be at my DD's. It's OK though, we walked alot at the farm. The boys really did have a good time.
