PMPS+10=386.
AMPS=374. Wellness Chicken for breakfast. Shot 2 units. new vial.
+6=72...Eeyore, babyluv, find a wave and surf...no big bounces for tonight, all right?
PMPS=410. He tried...apparently, there were no waves local. Sigh.

Morning, everyone.

Eeyore is fine, and I still haven't figured out how to bring his numbers flatter. Sigh. Also, we're at the bottom of a vial, so will be starting a new one today; hopefully, that will bring some oomph back and bring him lower, but we'll see.

It was a rough last week, and a terribly difficult weekend for me with the funeral. As a result of everything, I'm now sick with what is promising to be bronchitis...blech. I haven't had this in ages, but I apparently do now...burning chest, productive cough, the works. Sigh, sigh, sigh. Oh well. Just something else to work through...

Hope everyone else has a great day...

UGH, sorry you are having such a rough time of it all, Michelle. I hope you start to feel better soon. ((((Michelle)))

ohmygod_smile Pink Eeyore? Can you DO something with those numbers? maybe the new juice will work wonders. Now, you have to help your Mama today Eeyore...she is feeling very very sad...and she has a bad bronchitis thing too... so be a good boy and help her out around the house....lots of hugs too, k?

He is listening, Pat. I got up at 3, like usual, had a cuppa coffee, realized how horrid I felt, and laid back down for an hour. He hopped right in bed with me, and played pitty pat on my head and groomed my eyebrows. 'Course, I went to school looking puny, but whatever...I got me an Eeyore snuggle.

Home now, sucking on throat drops...hoping something helps, because darn it, I am NOT missing ICU rotation.

Thank you, Deb. I have had a rough week or so, that's true indeed. And the hug sure has helped me. The funeral took it out of me...just right on out.

Take care of yourself... bronchitis = yucky breathing. Emotionally take it easy too, physical health is affected by your emotional well-being too. (Like I should be giving advice to a nurse, sheesh...)

Now Eeyore, I love that he is so snuggly and WOW, look at that +6 of 72! You ask for green and Eeyore says, sure ok, how about this?

I hope he listened about the not bouncing part, too!

I likewise hope you feel better. Bronchitis is not fun!

Feel better, Michele. Eeyore is trying to help (and seems to be doing a pretty good job). Get a good nights rest!

Problem is, he can't keep green or blue for more than a few hours...then he shoots right back up, no matter if food is out or not. I just don't know what to do with this, you know?

I love that Eeyore is such a snuggler, too. He's really a dear one...my study buddy is in love with him; said if she ever got cats, she'd have to get Maine Coons...this is a woman I had to convince that MC's weren't actually raccoons...but a breed of cat. She was very concerned about my taking on a diabetic raccoon. ohmygod_smile She's dear. Young, to be sure, but still a dear. She walks around the house carrying Eeyore...and he is totally blissed out with that. LOL.

I'm trying to take it as easy as I can; I love this rotation - ICU/Neuro seriously rocks - but the final last week in Medsurg I had to pass with a decent score, or I was dropped from rotation (you don't pass lecture, you can't be on the floor). We are supposed to hear by 6 or so tonight if we were not to come in to rotation in the morning, but my phone has NOT rung all day. I don't know how I feel about the exam, either...so I've been sitting on the edge waiting. 10 more minutes, and maybe I can breathe easier? Maybe not...dunno. This is a weird school sometimes.

And yes, bronchitis is yucky. I hate the burning chest part. Once that goes, and the chest "opens" (good, solid coughing happens), then I feel like it's no big deal. But this burning chest stuff is for the birds. KWIM?

Michele
