Not much to report for Daphne. She did get about 20 min. of deck time yesterday, the rain held off till probably today sometime, very cloudy and raw outside. I hate our Aprils and our March sometimes, they seem to be so raw, with rain. It hurts arthritis in kitties and beans. Wish I could move to AZ

I thought I would paste this in from my DSL, since I had questions about why a hospital would send a patient (DBL) home with a 100% blockage. And now I understand and thought it would be good to share that info. in case, God forbid, it ever comes up in anyone else's life. So this is from my DSL.

"...testing indicated a 100% blockage in an artery , so we went to Hahnemann Hospital in Phila for what we hoped would be an angioplasty , with the possibly to insert a stent into the artery. Unfortunately, during the procedure, the surgeon found the artery was not a candidate for this. So, bypass is his only option. The good news is his heart muscle is still healthy. The blockage seemed to build over time so the heart rewired itself to operate at a reduced efficiency fairly well , and his overall health is good so we are optimistic that he will fully recover."

Sending healing vines to all the kitties and beans who need them today.

Re: 4/26 Daphne AMPS 143, +9 74,

Nice numbers for Daphne today. I think you would probably feel much better in a dry climate with nice and warm weather. Yes, the weather with the drastic barometric pressure changes sure can affect both humans and pets. I have RA and feel much better in this climate; originally from PA. That's interesting with your DBIL. If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds positive with him having the bypass surgery?

Oh, Ann so you were an east coast girl, so I guess you know the hospital I mentioned. I think the news is very positive. My DSL just confirmed that she checked out the Drs. stats. and it sounds very good.

Well, Daphne has arthritis and I have many problems, but the Fibromyalgia, I know, would benefit by the warm weather. I feel 50% better in the summertime. Someday maybe we will be able to move to better weather. :YMSIGH: Sorry you have to deal with RA, but its nice to hear you are where it is warm.

Have a great night!
