Much better day today! I'll update his SS once my niece wakes up from her nap.
There's no way I'm risking walking by her and waking her up!:nailbiting::p
So happy to see the yellows back. I wonder if the yellow preshot was a double dip in the middle of the bounce?
Still waiting to hear from the vet about IAA/acro test costs... Hopefully she will call me back instead of the receptionist or tech. She usually does but I have a feeling they think I just want his blood drawn.

This morning was cycle 6 on 9.5 units... Wondering if we should increase or give it a couple more cycles to see if he goes any lower since he bounced in the middle?
I think he'd go lower if he didn't have that big post-meal spike. I was in such a hurry to increase now I'm on the fence about if we should increase or not.

Who said this was easy, Steph? I made a boo boo myself this AM so I'm watching Teasel carefully. As I always say, every dose is an experiment ...

I saw your thread... Forgot I was going to peek at your SS. Little one has me a bit sidetracked.

LONG day! So glad it's over. Chuck's ear have been super itchy tonight. When he gets like that I try to clean them with a little sensitive ear cleaner but it stings anyways because he will scratch his ears until they bleed and he is screaming when he scratches. This has been a life-long issue for him. He also has polyps in his ear canals which the vet didn't think needed removed. I use oto-max on his ears when he gets like this but I try to give him a breather after the cleaner. Tonight an hour later I put the oto-max in and he went ape-shhhht. Digging, crying, drooling, eyes were watering... then he was panting. Poor baby. I feel awful. I won't use it again until I hear from my vet. The ointment usually makes him itch a little more until it calms down but it usually only takes 5 minutes. He was digging for 20 minutes tonight. I kept him calm on the table while feeding him a few pieces of Young Again. (I know it's a no-no). He was hiding again under the china hutch but I opened the doors and he decided he'd be happier outside.
If he were half his age and healthy I would probably have the ear removal surgery done but he's far too old and "sick" now.
My poor boy.

We aren't really sure. He has dirty ears... Produces a lot of wax and his canals are smaller from the hematomas so there's reduced o2 flowing in there allowing for infection to set up quick. The new vet said allergy medicine could be tried to see if it helps. We tried changing his diet, all of our "cleaners" for us and the house. Nothing ever worked. Old vet said he might just have a "fetish" or OCD for itching his ears. Uhh...Ok?!
He's feeling better now. Not itching. Sleeping on the back of the love seat behind me. Silently judging all of my spelling errors and bad grammar. Haha

Just noticed the empty cat food can on the back of the love seat. LOL the drooler thinks the recycling bin is her toy box. SMH. How or why she put it up there is a mystery.

I was worried the stress from the cleaning would increase his numbers a bit. He seems to be increasing at the end of the cycle anyways so hopefully it won't be too much!

His numbers aren't horrible considering the ear stress. Hopefully the 10u will bring him down once the depot stabilizes.
