Looking for some feedback as to what i'm doing wrong here. Sunday we had great numbers, the first time I'd ever seen blue after 1 week of testing. However, it seems all the progress was erased staring Monday. His food intake is the same thing day in day out - is there any particular reason to have one good day and then go right back to reds? I almost feel like I'm missing his shot, or it's not doing anything. I am trying to ween him off of RC renal wet food as it is high carb, but he turns his nose up at all other alternatives. I am waiting for the premix to arrive for his chicken, but in the mean time he has to eat. Thoughts?
 
He’s bouncing from the blues. They usually take about 4 cycles to clear. I he doesn’t come back down to at least yellow tonight I would increase to 1.25 tomorrow.
 
You're not doing anything wrong. You just have a bouncy kitty who is not used to seeing those blue numbers. Elise is right. I know how frustrating it is when you start to see better numbers and get your hopes up and then.... Boing! The good news is that since he had some blue, this shows that he will be able to get there again in the future. Sorry that this is such a long haul!
 
Thank you all so much - he's down to 452 +4 and after eating chicken...will see how he is +8 and PMPS.
 
You're not alone! Same thing just happened to us - a whole day of blue numbers for the first time a few days ago, and then way up to high numbers afterwards. We've just cleared our bounce and are looking good again today. Such a rollercoaster. Hang in there!
