Happy Saturday everyone!

Because of how high Jose's PS numbers have been since the dental I was going to try TID today but I need to be out of town and won't be able to monitor as closely as I would like. Also today's AMPS is back in his normal PS range so maybe he will be ok today and stay below 300. We shall see. I am still going to call the vet, however, and talk to them about some pain meds and switching his AB from Orbax to Clindamycin.

Here is his curve from today

There you go! i think he just needs a little more insulin at those higher ranges. Whether it's pain or infection or whether he just needs more doesn't matter. You increased yesterday and it looks good to me.


With that last cycle, TID would not have worked. You need to have him rising again at +8 and a number you can shoot. To me, his patterns don't usually look like TID would be necessary.

Looks like Jose is finally coming back down to more normal numbers! Nothing close to 300 today :-D
