Smokey has been so close in the last week on earning a reduction, but not quite there yet. A 58 on the 23rd and a 54 on the 18th. So close and yet so far.

Smokey, way past time to dip below 50 and earn that reduction. It would make your momma really happy. Just do it, please, pretty please, pretty please with a freeze dried treat on top?

I agree come on Smokey it is high time you get it done and take that dip below 50 (just not too far below) and earn yourself a dose reduction.

His freeze dried treats will be here via UPS tomorrow, I know he'll be excited. He LOVES them!! Maybe that will be enough to make him happy, and he can stop being so bouncy! confused_cat lol

I'm doing what Mel suggested.. I changed up his feeding schedule. Hopefully instead of bigger meals at AM/PMS and +6 giving smaller at AM/PMS +3 and +6 will keep him from falling and then bouncing wayyy back up so quickly.. Paws and fingers crossed!

At least I am starting to feel alot more confident with testing. It's gotten alot easier this week.. can get more blood, closer to the edge of the ear. I am using a lancet device, but it's set on the least depth, and he really doesn't mind it, now that I've gotten better. He actually purrs most of the time. I'm not sure if that's because he gets a nice rub down or because of the piece of chicken or treat he know's is coming! :smile:
