Yesterday was delayed bounce day.... he started out so well too, that I thought maybe, just maybe, he'd hold onto the low yellows, ride it out, maybe hit the blues again. But noooooooooooooooo.... Mr Liver wanted to have his say too, and so he did. Off to the high pinks by +11. **sigh....** well, back at it today, and we hope for great things. Right Mannie? I do believe I see a head nod over there - WOO HOO! Back in the saddle again. With this morning amps, I think we are! :-D GO Mannie! Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Well almost well.... yesterday was "wash Mannie's butt " day too :shock: :cool: . O.M.G.... a definite design flaw! Long haired cats should not have all that fur on/in/over/around the butt area. Mannie's is over 3" long there. :shock: So...... yesterday he got a little help with his grooming. :o :o :shock: :shock: :twisted: He was not pleased. :evil: We combed and washed and trimmed and groomed and dried and washed again. There was alot of growls and hisses and claws and snarls and chomps and more hisses, and one scratch.... Final tally? Bean 15, Mannie 13, mats 1, lavender soap: SCORE! He was not pleased either with my soap choice. :-x :-x I thought he smelled great: a nice subtle scent of lavender. His response: he washed and washed and washed. HAHA: I win! :cool: :cool: SO so fun to watch that tiny pink tongue trying to lick that 3" long fur - that tongue and head could not stretch out far enough..... And as always we had a great test feed shoot this morning: lots of purrs and head rubs from Mannie. Breffis was consumed with gusto - still and always at warp speed, clean plate club status maintained, the auto feeder continues to be used: despite a few missed ones, Elsa still tries to raid his auto feeder, I still intercept.... Normalcy in MannieLand. :cool:

I SO NEED a chillaxin' day today. Like the beach or something.... Gotta get rid of this smell. sheshhhhh! you guys wanna go to the beach then? Nice blue Mannie! Uh oh! Butt wash day is never a good day. I bet he smells just like a flower now. :lol: Congratulations on the score! I know what it would be at my house with bean getting a big fat goose egg and shredded arms as well.

Nice blue there for Mannie, so I hope he gives permission for you and DGS to have an outing! I'll be right over for that ~O) for all! :-D Oh my, poor Mannie with the butt washing, and lavender soap! :lol: :lol: No wonder he was hissing, says Maggie! Maggie doesn't like her butt washed either! Good thing he has a Manxy tail or stubble! Have a great day with DGS and hoping for sun, too!

Morning Melissa - Yes, that was a challenge... but he looks so much better, and this morning I seem to have been forgiven. :cool: :lol: and yes on the flower! :lol: :lol: :lol: that too he seems to have forgiven me for. poor guy! Nice to see the blue start today - I hope he can keep it there, for DGS day. :-D

Hi Ann - Me too on the permission slip, I asked this morning at shot time, so we shall see what he thinks. :-D Paws crossed! One cup of ~O) coming right up! and yes - a very good thing on the Manxie tail - sure does amke it alot easier - now if there wasn't all that fur there. :shock: :lol: And thanks, me too on DGS, and the sun part!

Hi guys,

Mannie is making sure with that +2 that you know it's OK to take Nicholas out for an adventure today. KTSS can come over to work on the lavender smell! :lol: Maybe Rusty can show Mannie how to scoot along on a scratching mat. That's how he keeps his backside fur trimmed and clean. We have one of those roll-up mats that goes flat on the floor and has a sissal surface (and a "featherhead" toy attached to one corner). Here is is at PetSmart (but without the toy):

Omigosh Michelle, picturing Mannie trying to stretch his head and tongue to the end of his fur, cracked me up.
Clancy does the same, but thank goodness his hair is not as long as Mannies.
I shaved his butt area and 'some' of his pantaloons recently. :roll: , luckily, no one sees him. :lol:

Very nice blue amps. You know that +2 will come down nicely. That's not out of the ordinary for Mannie.

Permission granted! Mannie and Tess are having a confab up there over where to go. CA beaches are wet this morning, maybe Florida. Have a fun day w/ Nicholas (what else would it be! :-D )

Still yellow.... I was a little concerned when he dropped so much from his +10, but we seem to be somewhat even still. This might be an interesting night.

Nicholas and I went swimming today, and then to the Seattle Aquarium after that. WOW - BUSY!!!! but fun, a ton of fun. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow. It has been raining here all day, so indoor stuff was just the ticket. Swimming is always fun for him, and he really enjoyed the aquarium today. So much so that he would stand still - kept going from one fish tank to another over and over again. It was a very good time for him.

Hi Ella - that he did, and off we went! I was grateful, but would have settled for a mid blue too! :lol: He was busy sending Texts to all the KTSS kitties: "HELP" - guess he not a lavender fan. :lol: :lol: Love those matts!!! Rusty will have to come and show Mannie how it's done. Anything to avoid future bum washing.... :shock: :lol:
