Morning ~O) ~O) Maggie manages to stay in the blue radar every time. I think it's eating too close to the two hour range before her shot.
Good news again for Detective Poo's log. :-D I cannot believe what I'm seeing, but Mags just had more prezzies a short while ago, soft but with form. It must be the Merrick Cowboy Cookout that's easier to digest. It's a nice slurpy consistency, and Mags leaves the little chunks on the plate in a neat little pile. They appear to be veggies, as I saw a pea yesterday, yuck, says Mags. Mags will get a tushy bath a little later after her nap. All seems well with Mags. She looks a little thinner since the two poos yesterday and one today. I don't know if it's my imagination, as I don't have a baby scale.

We have light showers this morning, which is nice for us! Then clearing and cloudy this afternoon.
Wishing all a nice day and Mags is looking forward to the Full Moon Fish party.
Healing vines to kitties and Beans needing them.

Thanks Rhiannon, Lisa, Maggie's bf, Vyktor, and Ella for the visits last evening.
Rhiannon and Lisa, On the prezzies, I think Mags is trying her darndest to catch up, but there's still a deficit. :lol:

Nice blue start for Maggie. Oh wow on the prezzies. She is thinking you need lots I guess. :lol: Good job to both of you! Too funny on picking out the veggies and chunks. She is definitely a girly girl. I am so glad you found something that she really likes, doesn't raise her BGs, and helps her give you those prezzies.

That's funny on the looking thinner ~ the last time Ripples had an enema at the vet, I swear I got a kitten back ~ didn't even realize how plumped-up she had become. :oops: ;-)

I pick out the veggies in CC ~ I don't even know if she would eat them ~ maybe it's the little kid in me ('vegetables, yuck!').

Wooohoooo for even more prezzies! I bet you're right...she has an easier time digesting the CC than the Paw Lickin's. So funny that she leaves the peas behind. Smart kitty...peas don't belong in cat fuds!!! Keep working on that deficit, girl, but not with TOO much enthusiasm!

I really hafta get to a pet store. Checks used to like the CC, and Granny's PotPie...these foods are no longer carried in the farm store, and I'm lucky the supermarkets carry Fancy Feast.

I used to have a dog, that would 'push' the peas onto the floor all around his plate. One day, I watched, and realized he wasn't doing it on purpose, his tongue just rolled them off as he was eating. :lol:
I like Josie's idea of picking out the veggies that the cat doesn't need.

Kind of a big drop for Mags! I'm surprised as she's had a few Cowboy Cookout breffifs, but was snoozing on the recliner the last hour or so.

Josie, I do remember you saying Ripley looked thinner after her enema. Too funny on picking out the veggies for Ripley. Good idea for Mags, too.

Amy, I think so, too, the CC may be easier on her digestion. I can still chop up the Paw Lickins into mush, as Barb does for Checkers.
You're right, what are they doing adding a whole pea to a cat's fuds! :lol:

Barb, I wish you had a pet store nearby where you could buy as many as needed. I know when we order online, it's by the case most online places.

Hi Detective Poo, I know, I was not expecting prezzies today either, but what a surprise. Mags gets 1 tsp of Miralax daily, spaced out into four portions. It would be too heavy dose for a normal kitty with constipation, but with her Megacolon, it seems to be a good dose,
Unfortunately the rain is not much to write home about this time, so no snow for you guys.

Ann, it is wonderful that the CC isn't spiking Maggie's bgs. Dr. Lisa calls it the closest thing to "fresh mouse" (nutrient-wise). I wish I could feed it to Rusty. He is allergic to beef. The two times I tried it on him he ate it enthusiastically, but immediately threw it up!

Coming up nicely with just a little more of the CC! Mags just had a tush bath. I again just let her sit in it while I held her upper half from getting wet. She's now sitting butt front by the space heater. :-D

Hi Ella, thanks on Mags. That is interesting info from Dr. Lisa on the CC being closest thing to "fresh mouse." Mags is really enjoying it. I think the reason before she snubbed it is that I used to be able to buy the chunkier Wellness Turkey, whereas now I can only find the fluffy one.

Nice surf! Kittehs are all dressed in their finest green for the Fish Full Moon Party! Hmmm, maybe i shold try CC again, Tess used to like it then started snubbing it. I agree w/ Mags, mushy peas = YUCK!!!

Nice green surf for Maggie! :mrgreen: That's great she gave you more poo today. I don't blame Maggie for not eating the peas. I don't know why they put peas in cat food. However, I did have a cat that would steal green beans off my plate. :lol:

Well, it looks like Mags will be wearing her blue dress to start out and then maybe wear green later.

Ann, paws crossed Mags doesn't snub it as she did earlier. Sometimes when you take a fuds away for a while, and then reintroduce, they think it is a new fuds. I didn't know we could trick a kitty!

Carla, that is too funny with your kitty swiping the green beans off the plate. Mags would do that to potato chips and popcorn, of all things. :lol:

Happy turd dance for Maggie! Gobs squeezed one out this morning :lol: Ann, I swear by ReNew Ultimate Flora Critical Care 50....if things don't clear up completely soon, it is something to think about...all three of my cats now get it daily

It looks like a blue surf tonight. Mags slept the entire day away! I was getting worried, but then I forgot she was getting her beauty rest for the Full Moon Fishy Party.

Kat, thanks for the Happy Turd Dance! :lol: Congrats to Gobbs for squeezing one out, too! :lol: What is the ReNew Ultimate Flora Critical Care 50? Is it a laxative similar to Miralax. I should know this stuff.

Oh I have a great pea story.

I had a cat 35 years ago.... that would sit next to us when we ate dinner on the couch.... posed like Snoopy doing his vulture in wait.

She absolutely loved chicken pot pies and we would give her the little tin when we were done with it, leaving a little so she could have it.
She would lick that tin absolutely clean .... and she would lick the peas absolutely clean too....
She wouldn't eat the peas.

Rhiannon, love the pic! :lol: That is too funny with your kitty and the pot pie and licking the peas. I could see Mags loving the chicken pot pie, as Gerber chicken bf is her fav.
