Well, this morning was the worst day for Leo pulling away right after the stick and attempting to bite us. I was even using the 6mm length BD Veo, bevel edge correct, and prepinches, too. Hope today's shot doesn't end up as a FS.

I'll have to pay better attention if a particular side is more sensitive.... thinking if this is the case, it's the right side. It was this morning. I'll see tonight. Thanks for the tip as Bandit experiences this, too.

I had more trouble finding a spot on his left side tonight than Leo getting upset with a shot. Got it done and Leo didn't try to bite me. Still had DH to pet & distract him. Yay!

Her right side. There are times that she flinches on both sides. Maybe it is my technique. Fortunately she is a gentle cat. My civvie is a different kettle of fish. Would gouge my eye out if it hurt!

I didn't see your reply, but went ahead and +3.5=60. While he ate the dehydrated chicken, he wouldn't eat the FF pate. I sprinkled dessicated liver powder and now he's gobbling it.

Thanks! I used to give myself a weekly IM shot and as the weeks went on, I became more hesitant to do it, so my husband had to learn how to inject. Yikes!
