AMPS 255! I LIKE when that happens!
KT's still not feeling quite up to par - hasn't slapped anyone in a couple of days even when Snow said he was a dirty boy and needed a face washing. KT will put up with that for a few minutes but Snow's usually not 'done' when KT says 'Yes you are!'.
Sorry I never got a condo started yesterday...it was a BUSY BUSY day. Harley went to vet mid-morning for tests to determine how much of this nodular swelling was inflammation and how much wasn't....
He DOES have an infection somewhere so my starting the antibiotics was exactly the right thing! Dr. Jeremy said "Wait, where's Harley - the sick one"!!! I waited for all the other animals to finish their visits so we'd have a bit of extra time for discussions. Yes it's still lymphoma too BUT it's not nearly as far along as originally thought - the lymphodenopathy was causing more of the swelling which caused us to go in AND CATCH IT EARLY! We changed him to doxycycline antibiotic for 10 days, lots of yogurt (which he LOVES) plus iron supplement as he's starting to get a bit anemic. Overall his blood work looked really good, vet was hoping to find inflammation only and was a little down because it still showed cancer but for me, I'm on cloud 9! I too hoped but didn't expect....He's feeling a LOT better, I've had to tell him to 'mind his manners' (no barking) repeatedly AND last night, I went out for 'last pee' - he'd gotten ahold of paper towels and confetti was shredded EVERYWHERE! This was one of his fun games in better times - SO warms my heart. I couldn't even get onto him for it without laughing too...
Thoughts and prayers today for all needing them and extra celebrations for our new OTJ babies! Prayers today too for Kim/KittyGirl - baby girl, PLEASE eat!
