Happy Fursday LL!
First of all, thank you to everyone who posted on our last condo on 4/20, the day we moved. It was a traumatic day for everyone, but I am happy to report that Kizzy is doing wonderful now. It did not take long for him to acclimate to the new house, in fact, he loves it and has been very playful and extremely affectionate. He still gets a little nervous when he hears a new noise, but that's to be expected. He has been more clingy than usual, and likes to stay close to either me or DH. If we get up and leave a room he is in, he will cry and run after us. If I dare close the door to the bathroom, he will sit outside and cry. He is quite literally attached to my hip and follows me from room to room. He has been sleeping on me every night, and for the first few days, would only eat his breffi and dinner on the bed (How Zener of him  ) but now he is cool with his bowl being in the kitchen. But he won't eat unless someone stays in the room with him ohmygod_smile so his bowl often follows me to whatever room I am in.
DH and I are doing well, and trying to survive this crazy, hectic week. I gave my class their final exam yesterday so have to finish grading those to get grades in by Monday. I am also working on my last paper (which was due yesterday) but my lovely professor granted me an extension to get it finished TG! We have cleaned this house from top to bottom and are now in the process of painting. The colors were horrendous... one wall in the living room was lime green, and the opposite wall was electric blue. The kitchen is pumpkin orange. Yuck. Kismet brushed up against a wet wall this morning and has a lovely white stripe down his tail and some on his back haunch. Pepe le Kismet!  He got a sponge bath and is all clean now haha.
His numbers have been fabulous in spite of all the chaos, and I think the boy is angling for a reducie soon. Paws crossed.
I miss you all and hope everyone is doing well! Thanks for checking in on us last night, Josie.
Have a great day everyone!
