Good evening LL-
What a busy week. I was out of town last weekend and unable to post. DH took the cone of Fur Ball as he just wasn't coping and seemed to do quite well leaving his stitches alone. He went to the vets tonight and got the stitches out of his chest. whew. All of the mouth sutures are absorbed. He has one flap that is still healing but overall his mouth looked good. He had an elevated temp but nothing she was concerned about. His appetite issues seem to be 'picky' rather than anything she was worried about. DH asked how they compounded the bupe and if there was any sugar in it and she "couldn't say." DH wasn't sure if she really did not know or if she just would not say. All of that news was pretty good.

Bad news. Last Thur I found another mast cell tumor (6 days after surgery). DH had the vet look at it and confirmed. She said 3 of them had looked over his body pretty good while he was under so she suspects it had just popped out after surgery. She does not want to operate and has referred us to the oncologist for an ultrasound to determine the extent of the spreading. My heart is saddened as his prognosis does not look good. But we won't know until we do more tests. I had to work late tonight so was not able to ask the vet more questions. Poor guy. We've worked so hard to get him to the Falls and now this.

Anyway, I'll try to get to condos. My computer is acting up and slower than molasses!

Continue to think of Michelle as she grieves the loss of an LL legend. Thinking of all the other furbabies needing healing.

Oh no. That is definitely not the news we wanted to see. Sending vines for the ultrasound. It seems like lots of times around here that initial diagnosis is not correct.

(((Karen, DH, Fur Ball)))) Many many prayers and healing vines for sweet Fur Bal. I pray that the ultrasound shows they are incorrect. Hugs and scritches to you all. Mary and ollie

(((Karen))) I'm so sorry to hear this news; it is not what anyone wants to hear. I am hoping that the oncologist will have a better prognosis and the cancer is treatable/operable.

Glad to hear the cone of shame is off and FB is eating well. Sending tons of good vines you way.

Karen, I missed Fur Ball's condo yesterday. I'm so sorry to hear the news. I hope the ultrasound shows the diagnosis was incorrect. Sending prayers and hugs.

HI Karen - I will hope for good news from the oncologist and think positive. It is never news any of us want to hear, but I will hope for a good outcome. Good luck with the U/S. A big huge hug from me. I am glad that the Fur Ball is healing from the surgery, and doing fairly well.

And thank you for thinking of us, and Mannie.

Karen, so sorry for the diagnosis. Lots of vines and prayers for a good appt. with the oncologist and a treatment for Fur Ball. Hugs and comfort vines for you..

I'm sorry you found a new lump, but I am hoping the oncologist has good news. Sending healing vines to Fur Bal and comfort vines and hugs to you.

(((((Karen)))))) I also hope you get good news and not that there is more cancer or that the prognosis is bad. I hope they can do something to help your sweet boy.

Sending healing vines, prayers, and lots of hugs.
