Yesterday's better day

Well, we started out a little high, but in true China fashion, she made her way down to the lagoon quickly!

Mama got some nice BTB time this morning and was kind of shocked that Miss China didn't come looking for a snack....but all's well that ends well and she's fine and dandy!

It's gray and gloomy outside today, which makes for a nice day to do absolutely nothing (when we can get away with it) and that's what I intend to do! May even take an afternoon nap if China agrees to surf!

Gotta recharge those batteries when the opportunity presents itself!!

DM is scheduled for a cardiac cath on Wednesday. I haven't told her yet though because then she'd just worry about it for the next several days. She talked with her GP and made the decision to have it, but I don't see any reason to have her worry about it until it's absolutely necessary...besides, I'll do enough worrying for both of us. Her kidneys are right on the edge of failure, and the dye they use can be really hard on kidneys (so there's a possibility having the cath may throw her into complete kidney failure) but if we want the cardiologist to do as much as possible to deal with her heart failure, he needs the cath to know exactly what's going on.

Sure would be nice to get that crystal ball working!!

Hope you're all having a good Caturday and your kitties are feeling great!

All sorts of vines for your DM, Chris. Rocks and hard places. Light pouring from now all the way through Wednesday's successful procedure.

Hey, China. How 'bouts we surf now? -- Polly

Piling on more vines for your DM. I know how scary it is first hand. We found out my mom has blockages in addition to the valve issues so we could not do anything more but it didn't cause kidney failure.

China is back to mostly great cycles again. Yay!

China surf safely!
Michael may join you and Polly later @ the lagoon:cat:
Wishing all the best for your DM:)

Sending Prayers and vines to your DM And Hugs to you. Surf safely China don't give mama
any more to worry about.

Add my vines to everyone else's for your DM. Hope the procedure goes smoothly and has the best possible outcome--and that you're able to worry just enough for both of you, but too much. I know its hard not to :bighug:

At least China is giving you a nice day, hope you got your nap!

All the best for the cardiac cath for your DM and hopefully China will surf nicely so you can have a nice refreshing nap.

Go China, lovely am cycle surf:D
Sorry your Mum is having to have a cardiac cath. You are a good daughter doing all the worrying. But it is true...if you tell them too soon they will just worry. Hope it all goes well and the outcome is positive :bighug:

Sending vines for DM so difficult to make choices like that I do not envy you.

China is providing the good news though :D

China had a nice cycle. We are hoping and praying that all will go well with your mom's procedures. At some point soon you'll have to tell her, even if she worries. She would not like being left in the dark about it.

Hope you got in that nap.

Thanks to all for the vines for DM....I know I have to tell her about it, but I didn't see any reason to have her start worrying any sooner than necessary. I'll probably tell her about it on Monday so she can start to wrap her head around it

Miss China's back in the lagoon tonight too!! :D:D:D

Mama's a happy bean....now China baby....you just stay in that general part of the lagoon, you hear? You do not have permission to go out into the deeper water!! (yeah, like that'll work...LOL)

Hi Chris! Many vines and prayers for your DM. I can only imagine how stressful it is:bighug::bighug:

I'm glad to see that China is in green:D. Although I'm sure you can do without the drama dives she is famous for?. Hope she surfs for you tonight. Have a great weekend!:)

Glad to see china in the greens. Good luck and sending vines to your DM. Remember to drink plenty of fluids to was the dye from the system. Also, even though the jury is stale-mated on the true benefits, I hope the cardiologist prescribed N-acetylcysteine (Mucomyst) the day before the procedure, as it is supposed to help the contrast clear the kidneys.
