This stinkus pinkus is very annoying ! ohmygod_smile I have given Simon 2 dosecreases in the last week and nothing seems to be improving. I'm starting to wonder if I would have better luck giving Simon Levemir?

The pink doesn't seem to be bothering Simon. Last night, he was bouncing all over the bed, attacking the bedspread and jumping off and on the bed. Of course, this was when I was trying to sleep! To make matters worse, Cleo decided she wanted her snack earlier last night instead of 1:00 AM. At 11:30 she was walking on my head and meowing VERY Loudly in my ear. I had to give into her insanity so I could get some sleep.

I am still very tired today and very anxious because I have a huge presentation to give today to United Way representatives. Lots of money for our company rides on this presentation so I am a nervous wreck! Maybe Simon senses my anxiety!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Good luck with the presentation - deep breaths - works for everything ;-)

The kitties timing was off on not letting the bean sleep - isn't that always the way - their antics are making me smile though

Re: 4/24 Simon AMPS 315

OMGoodness your kitties sound just as rotten as Leo does! Of course they leave you alone all day, but turn off the lights and try to get some sleep and it turns into mayhem

So far i like the Levemir better for Leo, but then again we are only 2 weeks in. Maybe it will be a better insulin for Simon.

Good luck with your presentation today, knock em' dead! :-D You'll do fine :-D

What a zoo at your house last night! I feel for you. Turnup does the same head walking routine. That definitely will get your attention.

Good luck on your presentation! You will do great! Just take a deep breathe and charm the heck out of UW.

Hi guys .. well at least it is a low pink, right? I know others have switched to lev with good results, maybe something to consider .. Good luck at your presentation today, I am sure you will do great! Have a great day!

Re: 4/24 Simon PMPS 242

Thanks for all your well wishes today on my presentation. It went ok except for one question a person asked that we weren't prepared for. Talk about the deer in the headlights look! @-) Hoping they still give us money!

Tracy, I might pick your brain about the Levemir and how you went about asking your vet for the change (I'll PM you).

Re: 4/24 Simon PMPS 242

Georgia, glad your presentation went well, and I'm sure you'll get the monies your company so deserves. It seems a lot of our kitties are into the get the Bean up and serve us or play with us. I think they sleep all day and then want to play and be active at night. Hope you can get some good rest tonight, hear that Simon and Cleo.

Re: 4/24 Simon PMPS 242

For sure Georgia! Another person whose brain you can pick is Marje......she had some good info for me.

Re: 4/24 Simon PMPS 242

Hi Georgia - much better pmps for Simon! I hope he has a good cycle tonight.

I am glad that your presentation went well - YAY! bummer on the one question, but hope that that went ok too.

well I have to admit that I had a chuckle over the kitty play at night, on the bed, when one is sleeping... always seems to be their fav time. I hope you were able to get enough sleep.

Good luck with the Lev, if you decide to switch. Another good source is Ann of Ann and Tess. Barb of Barb and Checkers recently switched too.

Re: 4/24 Simon PMPS 242

Yes, Simon is looking better this evening! I also got a giggle out of last night's kitty antics, although I know from experience that it's no fun when it's happening. But, how can we resist- they're just so sweet?

I'm glad the presentation went well...I'm sure they didn't even notice the "deer" reaction!

Have a great evening!
