Good Morning, Everyone,

I thought Rusty was getting back to his good numbers last night; if he did, the 203 is a bounce. If he didn't, he's still not there. So this morning he got a drop added to his dose, making it a straight 1.75 Units (2.55 mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe). Work that juice, Rusty!
Rusty had a good night sleeping with his beans and finishing all his nighttime food. This morning he was hungry for his breakfast and enjoyed a turkey combo-plate of FF T&G and Wellness Turkey. Test and shot went well, the "lung treat" was eaten enthusiastically, and we had a good schmooze. I'm a couple of hours late this morning because after our schmooze I got caught up in my book. And then Rusty came to sit on my lap and I didn't want to interrupt his beautiful purring.

It's a beautiful morning, 55 degrees already. We are supposed to have rain today and I want to get out (finally!) on my ancient mt. bike before the rain. Got to get my cycling legs back! Then, after the rain begins, I can do some shop work on my road bikes.

Wishing all a good day,

Ella & Rusty

Hey Kitties, Tomorrow is the big Full Fish Moon Party at Camp Stu. We are going to cook the same menu that Chef Mannie prepared for last year's Full Fish Moon Party. All members of the Kitchen Krew, and all kitties who would like to join the Kitchen Krew, please come to my house this afternoon. We'll sit on the porch (or on the radiators, if it is too cold on the porch), eat cimmamum cookies, and decide how to cook the sumptuous spread. We've gotta do Chef Mannie proud! See you all then.

The world stops when there's a kitty on your lap!  ESPECIALLY if he's purring. :-D Let's see some better numbers, Rusty. Wow, you work on your bikes? I had a flat on Monday and just took it directly to the bike shop. Then again, I was closer to the bike shop than home. I hope you get in your ride!

Morning Ella, good luck on the added drop and hope it brings Rusty back into some pretty blues and greens.
Awww.... sweet with Rusty on lap and beautiful purring. No way can you interrupt it. :-D Have a great time out and about before the rain hits.

Rusty, on my way over and I'm pretty good with the kitchen krew and wherever I'm needed. I think Maui has the Roadster and will pick us up.. Can't wait to see what's on Chef Mannie's menu for the Full Fish Moon party. We'll do him proud. Mags

Hi Ella
I agree, can't interrupt a purring kitty, on lap. :-D
I hope the added drop does the trick and brings Rusty back down to good Rusty numbers. :-D

Have a good ride. It's sunny one minute and black the next, here. I'm headed out for a walk. I've lost my walking legs over winter.

Hi Ella. Hope the extra drop of juice does the trick for Rusty.

Sounds like you have your day well planned. Enjoy your bike ride. Hope Edward's tooth is doing better.

Have a great day.

Hi Ella - there is a cartoon I had taped to the fridge for years. A couple are sitting on the couch. She has a sleeping cat in her lap. She asks him to fill her glass of water. He asks why she can't get it herself. She replies, "Can you NOT see that's I am TRAPPED under a CAT?" LOL I use that one on my husband all the time :-)

Dude! I am on my way over ready to join the Krew - I will be the best I can be to be as good as Mannie, but it will be tough! Look out the door - here I comes! ~Leo

Hi again,
Thanks for visiting. Lisa, that cartoon is purrfect!

It has been warm here today and we are not used to warm weather--a low-energy day. Rusty enjoyed lounging around outside. His 111 at +5 looked promising, but he went back up the ladder at what should have been close to his nadir. So we'll keep this new dose for a while and see if he settles in and brings down the range of his numbers a bit.

I did a short ride of 13 miles on my old clunker of a mt. bike, but it felt like a much longer ride. Although I took a route that avoided big hills, there was a 30-mph head wind on the way home. But I'm so glad I got out. Next week in NYC I will be doing two rides with my old cycling club, so the more I can do now, the better. Of course it will be easier on a road bike. (Yes, Liz, I do most of my own work--adjustments and maintenance work--but if there is a problem I go to the bike shop.) On my ride today I swung by Moody Pond and to my delight, the painted turtles were out on "their" log, enjoying the warm sunshine. I snapped this pic. Those "bumps" on the log are turtles!

Now I must get to at least a few condos. I had to go shopping in the later part of the afternoon.

Everyone enjoy the evening. The LL Kitchen Krew was here this afternoon going over Mannie's menu from last year. It will be posted in Rusty's condo tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Neko's breath smells like cinammum - I think she might have made a pig of herself at your place this afternoon. The moon was very bright last night, it's going to be some party tomorrow!

Rusty - work that extra juice. The LagoonMeister's presence is requested.

Love the pond pic - looks like a nice blue sky there too.

That pic is way cool! (I love turtles.)
Nice pmps for Rusty tonight (work that juice, handsome boy!).

Yay for the party tomorrow! I hope Ripley helped to plan ~ she disappeared for awhile today, didn't tell me where she was going, and came back not hungry for dinner. I hope she didn't eat the menu...

Whenever there's a cat (or 2) on one of our laps, my DH and I use the code "I'm stuck" when we cannot get up to get/do something...

Good luck with the extra drop. I hope it does the trick for Rusty. I love the picture of the turtles.

That's a little better, Rusty, but you've got a little ways to go. 13 miles on a mountain bike into a 30 mph headwind? That would be a tough ride at the end of the summer. You are tough, Ella.

I haven't seen a turtle outside in a very long time...so wow!

Hope Rusty's increase gets him back to his lagoonmeister numbers.....

The LagoonMeister may get to the lagoon tonight: he's almost got one toe in the water!

The rain finally arrived. I hope that tomorrow night will be clear for the Full Fish Moon to be visible (and so that the fish will be jumping)

Thank you all for visiting. Ni ni,

Ella & Rusty

Hi Ella ~O) ~O) ~O)

Sorry for the late visit....

Kudos to you for your ride today. I so need to get out on the bike, been far to many years for me. I loved the photo - and the turtles. What a great find. SO glad too that the rains held off.

Good luck too with the new dose for Rusty - back to the lagoon Rusty, 'K?

I will go to sleep with a huge smile on my face. What a great way to remember Mannie. I too remember that menu.... Rusty, dude! knew you could do it! No doubt that Mannie is watching with pride.
