Good Morning, Everyone. TGIF!

It's still snowing. We have more than an inch of new snow on the ground: temperature 28 degrees. This is spring in the Adirondacks!
After sleeping most of yesterday and picking at his food, Rusty had an active night. He was up and down: eating his nighttime foods, using his litterbox, sliding on the hall rug, waking us up to see if we were OK (Edward and I both had tetanus shots at our doctor visit and we weren't sleeping on the "correctl" side because our arms were sore from the injection; Rusty was concerned!). I'm glad he's feeling better!! He's presently asleep in his little bed by the radiator.
We had a dosecrease today to try to bring more green back into Rusty's SS: up a drop to a "straight" .75 U (1.23mm on the digital calipers, Terumo syringe).

The snowplow/sander just went by on the street. I guess I'll have to get my winter boots out again!

Gosh- snowing and 28 degrees. That must be cold! That would be -2 degrees celsius right?
And I think it is cold when it gets to 8 degrees Celsius
Aren't kitties funny- they like everything to be normal/ the same
I must say I am guilty of leaving on the main gas heater in the lounge room for Sheba overnight, and it isn't nearly as cold as your place

28??? and Snowing??? I swear you may just skip Spring and go straight into summer... What a winter you have had.

I am glad that Rusty is feeling better. I love it how he knew things were different with your sleeping pattern. It always amazed me how our kitties keep watch over us. Well done Rusty. Good you with the dosecrease too. Work that juice Rusty!

Good luck with the dosecrease. As you know I am trying to do the same thing. Maybe they will keep each other company. :)
 
Brrrrr..28 and snow? I thought it was awful that we had a frost advisory! I don't think I could take snow this late in April!

Good luck with the dosecrease....Hopefully it'll get Rusty back down where he belongs....supervising the lagoon kitties!
 
I just want to get to mothers day since that's our day we can start planting.....
i know if I go out there and put stuff in the ground, we'd get snow too.....
just rain here for the next week....


I just love that Rusty was so concerned that you weren't sleeping right.... that's just so entertaining.....
 
I like the image of Rusty sliding on the hall rug - what fun! And so cute of him checking on you cause you weren't following the routine sleeping patterns. I hope your arms are feeling better today.

Brrr on the weather. We've got odd stuff on this side of the continent too - snow line on the local mountains was lower today than I saw all of March. :rolleyes:
 
Some one please send us some of that weather!! We just have a cool wind. Faint possibility of some sprinkles tomorrow, but after that, sunshine and 80s! :( I would gladly trade for the 28 and snow.

Rusty takes his responsibilities so seriously - watching over not only the lagoon, but the bean's bedroom! Such a good kitty.

There are quite a few kitties that got dosecreases this morning, including Cinco. I hope they all respond well and we see a crowd in the lagoon soon, with Rusty presiding!
 
28 and snow?! I thought my 35 was bad this morning!

How sweet of Rusty to keep checking on you at night, a LagoonMeister's work is never done! Good luck with the dosecrease!
 
Good luck with the dosecrease! Ill take a little of that cold weather here in Fl. We have been breaking alot of records with this heat here..o_O

I think we need to lock you in the house rather than get your snow boots out with all that snow around - be careful!

I'm joining the chorus of how cute that Rusty was concerned you guys weren't sleeping on the right sides, he's a very thoughtful kitty :) and I'm loving the mental image of him sliding down the hall on the rug!

The dosecrease looked like it was working, but the shed has to recalibrate. We'll see what happens over the next few cycles. Rusty has had good appetite today and has been the best kitty. I 'm watching the Mets - Yankees game and Rusty just came over to sit with me. Mets are getting clobbered after winning 10 games in a row.

Today was a chores day. And since
it is winter again, I made a winter minestrone that we can have for dinner for 3 nights. Tomorrow we're going to see the Met in HD and won't be home until dinner time.

Oh my goodness...I will stop complaining about my upper 30s and high winds in the end of April....you cannot imagine the scene if I woke up to s***. Work that dosecrease and keep eating/feeling good, OK, Rusty?
 
Glad to see Rusty is feeling well today and he's back at the Lagoon enjoying his new dose.

Boy I just can't believe you have snow still. Sounds like a great dya to do what you did. I hope your leg is healed.

Tobey misses you. Said he will come to see you as soon as the snow melts.
