Her numbers have continued to creep up and appy is off so today will be Enema day. While I can do this whenever it is necessary, scheduling around food is the challenge. Yesterday was the first time she didn't really eat with gusto so I'm worried. Hope this will get her back to "normal".

In other very happy news, late last night my great nephew was born! Mom and baby are both doing well. I hope to see them tomorrow. I have so many memories of my own great aunts. They were a big part of my childhood, but seemed so old to me...

Rose did great today with her "procedure". It was very productive, but her numbers are still high so I think we might do another tomorrow (but I'm not telling her that yet).

Right now she is finishing her dinner which makes me happy. So many meds and supplements need to be timed around her food schedule, it gets complicated. Today she was supposed to get Azodyl 30 min before dinner. This must be given as a full capsule (not broken or sprinkled on food). Despite using a piller she managed to use one of her 4 remaining teeth to bite the capsule completely in 1/2 and spit it out! I reloaded and made a 2nd attempt which worked, but I'm gonna need to be more creative or improve my technique.

I used to use Azodyl with Neko for a while, but I sprinkled it in a little bit of high fat yogurt. Those capsules were just too huge to give by themselves.
