day before yesterday

yesterday went by in a blur of activity. i didn't take him with me to work after all & just came home at lunch and checked him instead. he ended up in the car for 2.5 hrs last night while we were at someone's house, and when i got in the car he seemed kinda cranky or upset. he kept meowing. so i laid my seat back and hauled him up onto me while we drove, then he settled down and started purring. kinda unusual, but it was very nice to have him happy being held. we were out in the country and i wondered if he smelled or heard an animal that scared him.

today punkin is kinda high, although because i was so busy yesterday i didn't get many tests so am wondering if he got lower at some point than i caught. no way to know, so of course, we press on.

he's his usual happy self this morning - curled up in his box on the living room floor. 2 breakfasts down, one more to go in 45 minutes - i'll retest him then.

the vet sent the lab reports yesterday so i'm going to add them to his ss when i have a moment.

i had a crazy night dreaming about the people/cats here last night. :? kinda disconcerting - woke me up and i fell back into the same dream.

Nearly yellow punkin and then comes blue and by tonight back to greens ok, nice and steady so you don't have a bounce.

The only one here I have dreamed about is punkin and that was a lovely dream, all serene and safe - sorry to hear we give you nightmares :lol: :lol: :lol:

I bet you had a nightmare about a certain tuxedo cat swan diving off the empire state building! No wonder we scare you! Hope Punkin shows Rupert how to come down in a nice and refined manner and then when they meet on the green floor gives him a severe talking to!

Hi guys .. poor punkin .. scared by the big bad outdoors, good thing his momma was there A low pink, that's for sure .. hoping he see's some lower numbers before to long .. have a great day guys!

Poor Punkin. Get over the scarey thing and get back to your normal colours.

We had a neighbour with a cat that used to go in and out at will. One day she accidentally got close to a bear - we get black bears in our neighbourhood fairly regularly. After that, the cat was mostly an indoor cat. No contact with the bear but I'm sure she was startled. I've seen Neko up on the deck watching a bear 20 feet away in the neighbours yard. She had no interest in getting closer. Bears have a pretty strong smell. Good thing Punkin was in the car for whatever came nearby.

Oh Punkin! I bet you were so scared without your mama bean in the dark night. At least he was glad to see you. :lol: :lol: :lol: Oh so sorry about the nightmares. I hate those and have had a few.

Sorry to hear about Punkin's unknown scare yesterday. But, wow, he sure has been having some lovely cycles lately!!!!!

I have to also say thanks for the video on proper dosing with pens and vials. I got pens for the first time, so I rewatched it. For anyone that hasn't seen it, it's worth the time just to hear the cute meowing in the background :lol: cat_pet_icon

heehee jaclyn! nice to see you - of course! yes, punkin provides a nice background. when we were making the video i wasn't even hearing him, but after the fact, yes, there he is. :lol: love that little monkey.
