LAst condo is here http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=41846&p=446661 .

Both my kitties still have liquipoo. Tried giving them boiled chicken and/or yogurt last night but they were both snobs and couldn't be talked into it.

I left out Fancy Feast Liver and Chicken and Fancy Feast Chicken dinner for them to munch on while I was at work today, as well as some boiled chicken peices with some tuna juice on it. They only ate the Liver and Chicken.

I coaxed Noxin into eating a bit of pumpkin mixed with tuna when I got home, but I think that only worked because he was really hungry.

Would giving them just plain canned tuna help their tummies at all, or do you think that just might make things worse. Urgh.

Otherwise, HAPPY EASTER everyone!~

I read yesterday's condo -- sorry about the liquipoo!

I have read that the liver-based foods can upset tummies. I wonder if you could mix in the FF chicken with the liver + chicken, to change the ratio of liver and chicken and wean Noxin away from the liver. Just one more thing to try!

If the LB problem has been going on for awhile, are you considering a vetty visit? Ya don't want them to get dehyrdated. And if there is an infection ya wanna get on top of it.

Hoping Noxin and your other kitty starts to feel better soon.

I have been trying to get them to eat different things but they are stubborn.
Maybe I will start mixing their wet food, take the choice out of their hands. Picky buggers :)

sorry about the poo situation. I agree that a vet visit is in order, to be sure they are hydrated if nothing else. Sometimes liquipoo can mean other things too, though with both of them sick I would tend to think it has something to do with diet.

Kathy is right about liver for some cats. Lots of cats eat it with no problem, but my civvie Sammy can't have it (he can't handle beef either). Some cats are sensitive to grains or glutens, so you might have to experiment some with what you feed them.

Happy Day 11, though!

They still seem happy enough considering. They just seem to realize that eating = pooing, and aren't too pleased at that part for the moment. What food they are getting I am making sure it is mixed with water so they are getting some hydration whether they drink from their water bowl or not. I have no vet visit planned. I am going to do a curve on Noxin on thursday and call it in to my vet, but that is all.

I'm just going to keep an eye on them for a few days and see if this just blows over, while attempting to get them eating a wider variety of foods.
