Good morning!

Yesterday

Looks like I spoke too soon about her AMPS slowly going down since she bounced back up again this morning. As per the convo last night with very helpful Chris & China, I'm gonna try upping kitty's dose tonight to see if that gets her to even out.

To anyone in the mid-atlantic, enjoy this brisk weather. Sunny and cool. Just the way I like it :)

I really hope this works, cause kitty is getting some funky numbers now. Her typical nadir a 233??? That needs fix'n!
 
Wow, 1/4 doses are a pain to measure out, even with a caliper. Hope I can be consistent with her dosing...

So her +2 was almost exactly her PMPS. Does that get her a pokey break for the night or should I do a +4 to be safe?
 
A +2 the same as the preshot points to a "normal active Lantus cycle" where the blood sugar continues to drop for a few hours and then rises to the next preshot. It's described on the "New to the Group" sticky.

I would get a +4.
 
Ah yes, I've been trying to reread all these stickies since they don't seem to stick in my head until a relevant situation arrises. Just looked it over again.

I'll set an alarm to take a nap before her +4. Thanks for your help!
 
I found that lots didn't stick until our situation actually was relevant. There is so much information - it's a lot to absorb. It takes some time.
