Not more relaxed, more stressed. We are 'polar opposites', I'm a clean freak, she's a slob. After a couple days, it really gets under my skin. I love her dearly and would do anything for her, she's the same way, but we're still opposites. She has improved tremendously in the last 20 years, improvement, not perfection. It still irritates me, but I'm much mellower in my old age. :lol: I put up with more.
I have come to the conclusion that when I buy my house, it MUST have 2 bathrooms, she spreads her stuff all over. :lol: Can't handle that. :lol: My beef is not that she's a mess, it's that she doesn't rectify it by cleaning up HER mess. She doesn't SEE it and won't do anything about it unless I tell her to and that's an issue. She's 48 yrs old and shouldn't have to be told to pick up after herself. But that's her and STILL not as bad as it used to be, she's finally growing up. :lol:
I guess I'm really paying more attention, since I know that when he husband passes, she'll be living with me for the rest of MY life. I'll make it a point to buy a place big enough for her to have private space, with her own bath, just so I don't have to see it. Does that sound bad? I don't think so, I'm going out of my way for her, just so I don't have to deal with it. So it's really for my benefit. :lol: How she keeps her bedroom and bath is irrelevant to me, as long as I don't have to see it.
:lol: That way I only have to insist on her contribution in the common areas of the house. ;-)
Anyhow, I expect Lucian to get back to 12 hr cycles in the next cycle or 2, or at least hoping for it. He seems to have longer 12 hrs every time he does it. It was like 4-5 days this time, getting better. He had that 12.5 and a 14hr this time too. Then dropped back to lower cycles, like 10 hr and an 8 or 2. He's definitely improving and I expect the 12hr cycles to become more common over time.
