Good morning LL! it is still morning isn't it? in that case: ~O) ~O) ~O)

I have had a few request from my LL family to maybe now and then do a loose Lips condo so that you guys can keep up with Nicholas, My hikes, and photos in general. I thought I'd try this out, see how it goes, and hope I'm not too out of line for opening a condo for this type of stuff, as it really isn't even remotely FD related... let me know what you think.....

First up: Cowiche Canyon. I had taken off on Monday to hike. It was my first true venture out since Mannie went to the Bridge, and sorely needed: just to decompress, unwind, and remember my boy with smiles on my face while out in the hills. This canyon is in Eastern Washington, near Yakima. The main hike in is at the canyon base, with a couple of off shoot trails that go up into the hills. One takes on a very small winery, the other just goes on and on and on.... It was a gorgeous day there, and I had a blast. The photo album contains alot of Mountain pass photos, so you'll have to weed through those to get to the canyon photos... So here you go: Cowiche Canyon, Snoqualmie Pass

wow.. that's a lot of pictures...
I hadn't realized how similar the terrain is to New Mexico.... many of the same plants or similar relatives of the plants.....
You just get more H20..... :YMSIGH:

Glad you are out enjoying the sunbeams and able to smile.

Hugs!

Hi Michelle, wow beautiful, breathtaking views of your hikes. Still lots of snow there. Excellent and so glad you'll be posting pics of your hikes and Nicholas, so we can keep up. I was wondering the same as Liz if Mannie sent a sunbeam.
Hugs from Mags and me to you and Tillie.

ETA - I had my kitties mixed up, sorry, sleep deprivation! I meant to say "Elsa."

Wow...amazing pictures, beautiful views!

I don't think you're out of line at all...in fact, I think we need to require you to maintain a Loose Lips condo :-D !!

Hi Michelle. Thank you for posting the pics. It took a while to view them all but definitely time well spent. I really enjoyed them. You did a super job with the camera. I look forward to your future condos.

Have a great evening.

Wow - beautiful pics! I want to go running and hiking there. Ahhhhhh. I'm glad you had a "me" day to get out and decompress.

These are great pics of a fabulous landscape. Thanks, Michelle! The whole idea of Loose Lips is to post OT stuff. I really hope you will keep posting here. All your friends need to be able to keep up with you and Nicholas. And we can "hear" Mannie in your posts, too. I'm drinking my after-dinner coffee right now and thinking of Mannie Barista and you.
Have a good evening and enjoy your days with Nicholas this week--lots of swimming and hiking along rivers.

Hugs,
Ella & Rusty

Excellent idea, Michelle! It's hard enough to miss Mannie but it's almost like we lost you, Nicholas, Elsa and the rest of your family too. I would be glad to see a Roni condo and a Michelle condo (Scrabble's bean) too. :-D
Liz

Yes, please post often, Michelle!
Lovely pics ~ I, too, miss getting the Daily Michelle Scoop. Reading about your adventures with your hikes, Nicholas, and the Mannster was like reading the morning paper for me.

Continuing to send you love and light... (I'm sure Mannie's taking care of sending the sunbeams!)

I think it's a great idea for you to post a condo and let us know how you're doing. Those are great pictures. It makes me want to get out and take a walk somewhere.

HI everyone! wow... and well ok then! It's a done deal, and post I shall. :-D :-D    Thanks everyone that posted here today. i Just didn't want to be out of line,..... Guess I'm not, so COOL!

Hi Carla - THX! I am gad you liked them - it's a great area.
Hi Nancy - LOL: come on over!
Hi Josie - Thanks so much. warms my heart, truly. Thanks for all, and yes: he continues to send those sunbeams.
Hi Liz - i know... one of the reasons I wanted to do this: so many want to see and hear of Nicholas, and Elsa... I agree too - I hope Michelle ad Roni will post now and then too.
Hi Ella - I will, have every intention of doing just that: posting. Everytime I pickup my coffee mug I think of our little barista. what fun that was....
Hi Lisa - oh me too on the me day...it was great. I did meet one runner there - lots of space there to do just that!
Hi John - I know... I am somewhat of a shutter bug and take way too many pics. LOL!, but it is fun. Thanks too on the super job comment. I just really enjoy it.
Hi Amy - THX! LOVE eastern washington! thx too on the not being out of line....
Hi Ann - THX so much! Post I shall. yupp! I've had a few sunbeams from the manster. he's happy.... :-D
Hi Anne - yes, he did. They have a certain glow to them, I just know it's him.
Hi Rhiannon - yeah, it is. LOL: I take WAY TOO MANY! Never can delete any when I get home... Interesting that it is so similar to NM. Kinda cool! and that we do on the water! ore than we need, I will send you the extra.
Hi Jaime - Many thanks!
Hi Lyresa- :-D and you are welcome. me too on the getting out - did me a world of good.

I have had a few signs for Mannie. I know he's visited, is watching over us. We've had sun, been beautiful weather since he passed, but once in while I see these few sunbeams that just light up the area they are in. I know it's him sending those that glow. It is wonderful to know he's happy. The other day I was working on the computer, and just happened to glance at the shelf next to the monitor that holds the printer There on that shelf was one of Mannie's whiskers. It is a shelf he never ever visited, heck he never came into this room... But yet it was there, wasn't there the day before. Thank you Mannie. Life is good at the Bridge. Mannie said so.

I loved your photographs and hearing about your hike. It sure is beautiful country.

But what really got my attention was when you wrote about finding Mannie's whisker.
That was lovely. He is safe now and wants you to know this, bless him. ♡

Michelle - I loved getting my Michelle fix today. The photos are beautiful as always. The trails are really well maintained there and the pass looks so much different from when we passed through in August.

I'm glad Mannie sent you a whisker as a sign. He knows you miss him but let you know he is settled in at the bridge.

Thanks for sharing those beautiful pic , Michelle! So glad that you are recovering & enjoying the hiking. Mother nature has her way to heal our broken heart. It's wonderful that you found Mannie's wiskas, what a great sign from the guy. :YMHUG:

Michelle - What a great idea!!! That is awesome so that you can keep us all up on what you and Nicholas are up to, and Elsa. Love love love the pics. I am so glad you got out and had a chance to spend time with your thoughts. Mannie liked that too. ((((Michelle))))

Morning everyone! ~O) ~O) ~O) boy do I ever miss my barista!

Melissa - THX! me too n the getting out, and the time just to reflect on all that was The Nanner King. It did me good. THX too on the pics: it is one of my fav hikes: easy to do, lots of potions, and pretty!
Angela - Very cool, and thx. I just didn't want to abuse the privilege etc... but this seems to be well received, so off we go! :-D
Helen - I so agree: mother nature has always done that for me, so knew where to go. I thought so too on his whisker... what a nice to have happened.
Wendy - Yes on that trail - they do take care of them there - easy hike, but so nice! oh yes on the pass: I had been there two weeks ago and it was still snowed in: starting to melt now, things will look dramatically different in a few more weeks. i thought so too on the whisker: he's happy, made my day!
CD - THX on the pics; love it over there: unique and so pretty. I couldn't agree more on the whisker. I am so glad he is letting me know he's OK.
Cathy - THX - the flowers were outstanding! THX too on my visiting... just can't seem to stay away.
