Good day everyone,

Juba's condo from yesterday:

Juba had a beautiful surf today, and both my husband and I were very pleased.
I probably didn't need to test her as much as I did, but I'm over pre cautious, and wanted to make sure she was in the middle/higher green the entire day.

Tonight Juba was 116 PMPS, and my husband and I decided since it's the weekend, and since we don't have to wake up early tomorrow (aren't doing anything) that tonight would be a great night to stay up and monitor Juba to see how low (safely) she may go!

I will probably be testing every hour (ugh, lol) to make sure she hasn't swooped triple digits in under an hour.
We have all the essentials for the hypo kit (just in case...really hoping we won't have to resort to that.)

Juba was SO playful today! And chatting up with my husband like she used to. She LOVES to play with her mice (we call them mousies) and run up and down the stairs. She hasn't been like this in a really long time, and I never noticed...naughty pet parent!

I will update every chance I get!

She's had a beautiful day so far with all that green! Good decision on picking tonight to shoot low when you don't have to wake up early tomorrow. :)

Great report on the improvement in how she's feeling too! It really is lovely when they start getting back to behaving like the cat you know so well! :D

Kadie...I totally understand how you feel!! My "Ah ha!" moment was a few weeks into China's treatment....I happened to notice her grooming and realized it had been forever since I'd seen her groom!! I knew her coat was in awful shape, but I hadn't put 2 and 2 together to realize that she'd felt so bad that she'd given up grooming and that's one of the reasons she looked so scruffy

It's those "glimpses of the cat we used to know" that make the journey that much more satisfying....along with the relationship we gain with our sugarcats. We think we love them as much as possible...then they get the diagnosis and you become closer than you could ever imagine being

Hey Kadie

Juba is looking very green these days. Looks like she's joined the Olympic divers LL club! And given you some heart attacks as well. ;)

Hopefully with her +1 higher than PMPS, she will flatten out tonight and give you a break. I think of her +2 is even higher, you can probably just grab a before bed and get some winks.
