Started out high today but he has leveled out nicely. Just had 186 pmps. Thrilled but I will be a wreck all night!!

Please get a +1 and a +2. I think you may have shot a dropping number. It's not a bad thing. It's just I'm suggesting you be observant. You have momentum from a bounce breaking coupled with numbers that are already heading down.

Will do. I feel so stupid - handling this is just so confusing to me and I'm afraid I'll never understand it. Thank goodness you're here and willing to advise. I'm usually not this dense - I just don't k ow why I'm not 'getting it'. :-(

You're "getting it" just fine. You've just lost sight of the basic premise -- these are cats. It's their job to confuse us. It would be incredibly easy if there was a rule book and all cats followed the rules. But, there isn't a one size fits all rule book and cats are notorious for throwing the rules out the window anyway. It's really a matter of understanding that every cat is different (ECID) and you have to learn how your cat responds to Lantus, to food, stress, etc. The other factor is that some of us have been around for a while and are attuned to know what to look for. Sometimes we're right -- other times, not so much!

Great day for Elian, nice sliding. Susie, Neko does this kind of pink to blue slide on me all the time. After about a year of seeing these kind of slides, I can predict that she'll either go up, stay flat, or go down. :lol:
On the plus side, nice to see Elian go a few days without reds.
